I have changed the title of the video from "Revolutionary ASMR" to the current title you see now. While I came up with the title before recording the video, and thought it would be a tongue-in-cheek play on the word "revolutionary", it didn't actually dawn on me until the night I published the video that I was thinking of Revolutionary War when coming up with the title. That war, and the American Civil War, are two entirely different things. So yeah, somehow I got the two mixed up together in name only. Duh! It was actually eating at me all night to the point where I had a dream about changing the title, so here we are! And since I'm being honest here, calling my own video "revolutionary", while an innocent play on words, does come across a bit arrogant and egocentric which isn't me and makes me feel uncomfortable. Besides, if I ever do a video about the Revolutionary War, I'm going to need that title! So the apropos "Relax with a Union Soldier" it is!

Well there were Southerners who were sympathizers with the Union, although the Confederacy also had their own version of the gestapo to sniff them out, torture them, and then execute them. A common execution method used in Virginia and West Virginia was to tie a tree branch to the ground, tie a noose around it, put the noose around the victim's head, and then to release the branch like a catapult, launching the person into the air. The force of the rope was enough to rip the victim's head off and send the body flying off into the distance. Other tactics would be a bullet to the head, to smash the person's skull in with a blunt object, to slit their throat, or to disembowel them.

As someone who is a reenactor of this period, I can tell you that the gear is not cheap. While you may not have the finest gear in terms of authenticity, this is the first Civil War role play I have seen with someone in uniform. Don’t know if you borrowed or bought, but it’s a lot of work. Your whisper was great, just what I needed.

I’m actually a Civil War Reenactor and I had the privilege of recreating many battles as a Pennsylvania US Volunteer or “USV” and those were the best days! Had the honor of fighting for the Union and my favorite battle was the 150th anniversary of Gettysburg. I remember Picketts Charge being tens of thousands of people strong and our Regiment was laying down behind the wall watching the canons behind us fire and seeing thousands of Rebels walk from the cover of the trees into the open field and march their way to us hopping over fences, my God that was the best time! Long live the Union! 🇺🇸 PS it’s amazing how you actually took the time to set up a Canvas tent with a wooden lantern and ammo boxes in the back! It appears even you’re wearing a cotton shirt underneath your wool blues! Damn this is the most impressed I’ve ever been with an original ASMR artists content! Nice work, Rift!👊🏼

There's a certain limit to how much control channels actually have over ads exposure. KZbin will force it on you if it suits them, especially if it's a very popular video. You can choose not to have any during the video, but even demonitized videos can't completely decide if ads should play before or after.
