Oh my that's a chonky sketchbook, I guess it's A4 sized? It seems like the paper work well for gouache than watercolor...? Again I like the way you drew the background, it's simple but still deep enough to separate the subject, you know the color value very well . Looking for a sketchbook tour in the future~

Thank you for your kind words! 🎨😊 The sketchbook size is 10*7.4 inches, and the paper thickness is 200gsm, making it suitable for various mediums. In the video, it may appear that gouache works better, perhaps because I didn't use watercolor to create a complete artwork. I tend to use watercolor for quick, unfinished sketches to capture ideas. The paper's absorbency for watercolor works well without causing wrinkles. In the future, I plan to test this sketchbook with acrylics or markers. As for references and inspirations, I find them everywhere - from nature walks, and studio Ghibli animations, to browsing through art books and online galleries. Sometimes, inspiration strikes from everyday moments or even dreams!

If you want your paintings looks vibrant you definitely need to practice and yes watch some tutorials on KZbin but sometimes the brand you're using can effect on the quality of your paintings. Good luck practicing your painting skills ✨😄
