I do a lot of tapping for my clients, however, doing it for myself is challenging. I needed this today. And I especially needed a female facilitator s the instructor and facilitator. Thank you Julie. I have been walking around the last 48 hours like a ticking nuclear bomb ready to go off. I have a male neighbour who has been an abominable, abusive nuisance since he moved in as a tenant next door. His behaviour is intentional, destructive and screams of little boy tantrum and entitlement. I honestly feel he is a waste of a human being and that the world would be a better place without him. The anger has developed into incontrollable rage where my efforts to follow legal and judiciary processes have yielded no change. In fact, it's inspired him to INCREASE his abuse and intentional harm and disruptive behaviour toward me. I have had incredibly dark thoughts toward him and wish harm to come to him. That energy inside me needs to change. It's damn hard work and I am investing thousands of dollars to take care of myself as best I can. Thank you for your tapping today.

Thank you for not having a 'story' as you tapped, which allowed me to focus on my situation. And you used words that could be applied to any situation. Thank you. I still feel a bit victimized (the people upstairs actually refused to be more quiet and their noise is constantly rattling and jarring my nervous system), but I do feel better than when I started. I will keep at it, and do this several times. I'm sure that'll take care of it. I also need to cry and mourn the loss of my need for peace and ease. Thank you very much.

Thanks for this, Julie. I am dealing with anger that happened by virtue of another's ignorance around what it means when a disabled person asks for an accommodation around their challenge. (me in my living space in working with management.) I was completely dismissed. Then the frustration and anger.. The anger is running me after a long hard week. I have to get through my righteous indignation to self empowerment and self care in the moment. It's the weekend and I need this for recovery time + fun things and self care. I'll be revisiting this tap again. What it does is takes me through the entire "cycle" of anger and how it can have a productive quality. At first (trigger) - then allowing processing time to get to the place where I can find my calm voice to assert again clearly and consistently my request and my right to do so. Part of this comes from a lack of information on the part of the person in question. When I have to advise others of my rights, it's exhaustive for me. That's the hard part. I just get angry as part of me says; "here we go again". Breathe, tap, eat well, rest talk to a friend, go wrestle a bear. (repeat)😎

I've had my deals with anger on and off for many decades. I used to yell a lot when I was a schoolteacher never abusive of course and the kids would say we love you but you yell all the time. Now I'm a mom of three cats for the last 13 years and when I read my poetry back from years ago I'm still raging! I go long periods of time without being angry and yelling at one of my cats the one that cries all the time and irritates me and I hear myself yelling and I made promises to my home and my babies. Add to myself I just want to be loved❤🥰

@@mlhamiltonanderson5940 Wow - your comment really resonated with me "speak up with a safe person..." I am always assessing what I have to gain by speaking to/with the toxic ones. In my case, its dealing with an issue in-house when I asked for an accommodation around my disability. I was brushed off and dismissed. Now I have to go in, self-advocate and educate them on my rights as a disabled person. Its exhaustive.

Why do you conclude that all individuals who are angry enjoy it on some level. This is simply not true. Most individuals experience anger as painful. To suggest anger is enjoyable is adding insult to injury!
@Julieschiffman11 ай бұрын
In no way am I saying people enjoy being angry. I think quite the opposite, however some feel the need to be angry to protect oneself or to punish someone else. I think anger creates much pain but tapping can help to reduce that pain and suffering when addressing the truth of how one feels.
