We need more game dev videos like this. Straight to the point no skipping anything, makes it authentic and relatable.

Love how all scott cawthon sprites are messy with names and not organized, good luck with messing with more of these in the future. Excited for the programming of the animatronics moving around

im a perfectionist and I've never been able to finish any game in the past 6 years the second i stopped naming anything and started writing garbage code I've finished my first project xD making and finishing a good game means making the worst code and messiest assets imaginable

p.s after a cam flip the arrow button goes away till you move your mouse off where the button is.

16:07 in fnaf 1 when you flip up the cams, you can still go to the other side of the office, you can use it mid game to check on chica while watching foxy. that aside love what you're doing, keep it up!

Really? I checked by playing the game on Steam first and I wasn't able to move the office while in the cameras.

this is fantastic! just nitpicking here, in fnaf 1, when you hover over the camera button, it disappears until you stop hovering it. also i think the collision for it is a bit wider than the visual button.

this is a really good series! i’m also remaking fnaf 1, but i’m still stuck with scratch at the moment. i do know a lot about the games quirks but you managed to make the game look very faithful to the original. also here’s a nice detail: for some reason, when flipping up the camera, during the animation, the fan stops spinning. good luck and can’t wait for the next episode!

I recommend things like the camera buttons, to make a seperate scene, so when you change something in the camera button scene it changes for all of the camera buttons, then in the main scene if you want to change how a button looks specifically, you can do that too!!
@Speed-TV12 күн бұрын
Didn't think of that
@Speed-TV12 күн бұрын
although I would still need to manually set the images for each one
@BubbledDEV12 күн бұрын
@@Speed-TV You wouldn't have to do that. Have the camera button scene export a variable for what camera it's tied to. Then create an animation that has every text image as a single frame, make the animation have a speed of 0, have it autoplay, and set the frame number to the camera variable in a script. That'll set the text automatically.

amazing stuff once again dude:] I made my own little fnaf "engine" on another game engine a bit ago, basically a base if I wanted to make a fan game It wasn't a recreation but I had to make the camera system, power system etc this reminds me of that experience:)

4:19 the sound you used is for the cameras opening, but there is one separated sound that is the same but without this second part

@@Speed-TV strange, when I downloaded the game sounds, there is a sound called "put down" that is this exact thing, maybe is a custom sound added to make things easy

ACTUALLY ☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓 as the names of the animations, variables, functions, and more things I don't remember right now, ar not essential at runtime nor app building, in order to reduce the final build as much as possible, clickteam automatically deletes all unnecessary data, such as names of the animations, disabled instructions, comments, code that does nothing...
@Speed-TV12 күн бұрын
Are you sure? I have decompiled many fnaf fangames, and those have named animations and comments. I think Scott was just going fast in fnaf 1.
@UlisesSanchezz12 күн бұрын
@@Speed-TV I think some versions of clickteam did and others didn't, If I remember correctly the latest version of fusion does, but only when building
