To be able to raise your hands at the end of a TT, you need to be the last to start the TT, the TT to not be part of a GC and still see you have a comfortable margin... So which only can happen if it's a TT championship and you are the returning champ. So basically you need to win an international TT championship twice in a row with more than 10s. Not a lot of people have done it indeed

What an era we are in. Pogacar and Evenepoel somehow both have once-in-a-generation palmares (variously grand tours, monuments, olympic medals, other one day races and TTs), and the same peleton includes Roglic (5 grand tours and a monument) and MvdP (world champs, multiple monuments). Is it just the case that the wins are divided across less riders these days?

Grace Brown retirement timing makes you wish she could just show off that rainbow 🌈 at least once in 2025, she had a great cycling career. Sad for Jay Vine. Luck is not on his side. This lad had a podium potential in this TT. Merlier is the best sprinter as we speak. The stats are backing that.

I think Laurent Fignon celebrated a little at the end of Stage 20 in the TdF 1989. Interestingly, the TdF has never again run a decisive last stage (from a GC perspective), such was the French fallout from Fignon's loss (in their Bi-Centennial Year).

Then again… Remco’s using a Shimano power meter. Considering their liberal relationship with accuracy, riding by feel is just so much more precise. At the end of the day, no (Shimano) power meter must have helped his performance.

So good of you to ruin the results in your title to monetise a few more clicks. I've tried to hide your videos for weeks.
@BabyBowDingBallАй бұрын
It’s actually the opposite. You’re way more likely to click if the winners are hidden. That’s the way it works. Also what a stupid problem to have. If you’re that concerned, you should be aware that your algorithm is going to push recent cycling videos and know you’re risking spoilers by opening this app. Honestly you’ve really gotta go outside, man.
@michaelnewman4302Ай бұрын
It's fucking ridiculous. I'm just about done with this shit.
@michaelnewman4302Ай бұрын
@@BabyBowDingBall "You’re way more likely to click if the winners are hidden." Yes, that's precisely my point. I don't view the KZbin "home" screen. I don't get fed anything by the algorithm. I only see the feeds I subscribe to, and from whom I expect better sense. The solution is to unsubscribe. I don't think that's GCN's aim. I keep Chris Horner off my subscriptions page for this reason.
