Lyme disease is caused by a bacterial infection. Hence, once diagnosed you tend to get a regimen of antibiotics. For Ren, this was doxycycline for two weeks. However, in many people that does not work. In many cases the bacteria attacks the nervous system and causes substantial neurological damange. In some cases, this is severe enough to create an ongoing autoimmune response, such as with Ren. Brain, while you may not want to react to them, Ren put out his Chapters series--almost and autobiography of his life and progression of his journey to better health. He explains a great deal; bring a big box of tissues for the tear response.
@Caseyd19668 ай бұрын
2 weeks of doxycyline works very well IF you take it soon after infection. But Ren, like many others, didn't get diagnosed until years after infection. By then, the bacteria has had time to wreck havoc on so many body systems. So now you not only have to eliminate the bacteria, but also deal with the damage that it caused during those years.

With great power comes great responsibility, and Ren is truly a hero! He said in Chapter 1 that he always had this feeling that he was meant to change the world for the better. So much that he yelled his defiance to evil into an empty room. And then he got sick… Ren has now shared the full story of his health journey in 8 video chapters leading up to the release of this song and what a journey it has been. With all the chapters he is showing immense strength in sharing his story that is so hard to tell, being vulnerable and telling it because he hopes it will help others and raise awareness. And here he is with another edition of that story, now told through music and with a message of hope. A beautiful hero that the world needs ❤️🐰🕳️ Also the beat is just fucking magical 🔥 Edit: “there’s relief in the teeth of the kiss of cold steel” is facts. When you’re struggling and have no proper explanation for it, there is beauty in the simplicity: if you cut yourself, it will bleed and hurt. Action and reaction that fit together perfectly. That being said… he actually cut himself with a shard of glass from an old tv he smashed, but I respect the creative freedom taken for the song. And if anyone haven’t watched his 8 part story, I highly recommend you do ❤

I think he says “19, young teen, waking up bitten”, referring to Lyme disease coming from a tick bite I think I have said before, but the way you react without the lyrics takes me back to being a teen and play/rewinding my cassettes over and over again to get the lyrics perfect. I might not know what I had for dinner yesterday but I can recite those lyrics perfectly because I became one with the song. If you should get chance in your busy life, go watch Ren reading his life story Missing, short chapters but it’s very interesting, harrowing, sad, entertaining and uplifting and really worth watching. This is that story in song. Don’t ever change man, this was one of my favourite reactions you have done. The song was great on first listen, but waited to listen properly with you 🫶

I’ve bought it on every platform. Ren deserves to have this chart and go viral. And , in pure Ren fashion, his purpose and reward is not the statistic but calling attention to these things that leave people alone, in the dark, unseen, unheard, and misunderstood. His intellect, musicality and empathy are unmatched in my opinion . His video on Defining Success is just that.

I love your passion, you give me ADHD pride and help me challenge my self-stigma. Out of all reactors you are the one I want to hear first. There's a certain feeling of communal joy being present on the day a new piece by Ren drops. I don't have a word for that feeling, but describe it like I'd have described a religious experience when I was religious. A feeling of a shared journey rather than waking alone; people I care deeply for despite them being strangers walking alongside me on this treacherous road. I don't care about our differences, the things commonly used to divide. Borders, religions, race, gender, politics, language... I'm mainly glad you're _not_ like me, embrace our difference and diversity, recognise this makes the experience richer.

" _So be the fate of Ren. Every single question answered with a question on the end_ " I'm looking through comments to find acknowledgement of this line. Ren describes making his music videos scene by scene when he poses a question in the scene, then answers the question with another question. He described this process in his interviews with Charismatic Voice and others after MG3 and Sick Boi dropped. I love that he applies this directing concept to his fate as well

When I discovered Ren around last September, the first video I saw was Hi Ren and it blew my mind. I thought then that he would become this generation's Bob Dylan (and as a huge Dylan fan I don't say this lightly). They're not the same people, nor do they have the same style, but both are poets and I think Ren will have a similar social impact to the one that Dylan did in his earlier years in music. He's just phenomenal, and after watching glimpses of his autobiography this week I realised just how much inner strength he must have. More than I do that's for sure. Thanks for another great reaction! ♥

Lyme Disease is a bacterial infection transmitted by ticks. If treated with regular ol’ antibiotics at the time of infection, there’s usually no lasting effects. Ren’s went undiagnosed for like 7 years and wrecked havoc on his body in the meantime. He’s also got MCAS, which makes him highly allergic to things, including food, which is why he can only eat like 8 things.

Most people just cling to his music for the likes they get, but you my sir… actually get the greatness of this guy. None of this is normal.
