I come from a family of musicians but, Never have I heard such passion and someone who can dig so deep inside themselves and articulate the words that resonate so much that anyone who listens to the lyrics can find the feeling that they are feeling and put it into a song that we all can relate to, It's simple a genius. If Ren sparks another British Invasion here in The States, I not only understand, I welcome it. I’m an old guy who has not been this excited about a new album since my 15th birthday in 1984 when I got enough money to go buy The Beatles - White Album and Pink Floyd - The Wall, and years later the Marshall Mathers album. And now I’m also fired up to hear Ren say here that his next album “is already cooking”. Big love and massive respect to Ren from New England, USA!

Rens ability to use his talent to reach such a vast array of people of all ages, backgrounds and genders is brilliant. Giving men the opportunity to talk about the really tough times they've gone through and or are going through is something I haven't seen an artist accomplish on this level before. I played 'Hi Ren' to a good friend who is really struggling with shite (and has been for a while) opened up some of the best yet tough conversations we've ever had. He's now a massive Ren appreciator like so many others. Like you said... The tears flowed. They were well overdue (like they are for so many men) and it was beyond cathartic. Freaking marvellous. Your comment is so damn accurate. Well said mate. Take care.

I have a similar issue in that there’s a lady I look after who is forever talking about pain. For years I’ve searched for songs about pain to play to her, and as much as I love Ren’s visceral testimonies of his first hand experience, I feel I can’t play them to her for all the swearing. I play her excerpts and she totally gets it.
