Thank you so much for these information!! Once you download the CGAxis objects, can you modify them in the archicad? I see many books in their libraries, can you change the cover for example?
@DavidTomic4 жыл бұрын
Not to my knowledge of the item. Once imported they are very basic objects. Potentially you could change the cover in TM with the use of a custom texture

I constantly find twinmotion very cartoonish... it’s amazing but the result always comes out too “digital”, looks like a game or something. I wonder which live render software makes the MOST realistic results? Great channel btw ❤️

I recently tried D5 render. It's quite new, but I find their renders quite good compared to twinmotion. And enscape is a good alternative too.

Did you import pbr materials from cgaxis into twinmotion? Could't find out how to do this best.
@DavidTomic4 жыл бұрын
Havent tried the materials as yet. Ill try and figure out a mass improt method and if I figure it out, I'll make another video :)

@@DavidTomic Did you ever figure out a way to mass import? It's going to be a huge pain to do 2800 materials individually lol

What about the new ability to import FLA files? Have you experimented with importing Revit families directly? Seems like there should be a ton of sites out there with resources for Revit.

Interesting point! I'll look into it further.

Would you recommend Vray or Twinmotion?

Twinmotion for fast presentation renders. Vray for photorealistic renders

I mean, good tips but there is absolutely no point in bringing high poly non gdl objects into archicad. sections will start taking a lot of time, even if your cpu is high end.
@DavidTomic4 жыл бұрын
Hence the recommendation into importing it into twinmotion. Better workflow, less load time. Unless you go overboard on objects.

Now they hope WE fix their object library PAYING to use the library part maker and param-o with SSA hostage fee... I am really thinking about going away from this company, this is just too toxic for me.

AC26, interesting comment but still better than building a whole family of parts to make one small change like some other softwares.
