Dustin is freaking awesome. I went to a house show back in 2016 and got there early to see the wrestlers come in and sign stuff before they went inside the building. And honestly Sasha Banks, Becky and some of the others completely ignored everyone and didn’t even acknowledge us. But here comes Dustin in his rental car. He pulled up right by the fans and got out and he went down the entire line and shook everyone’s hand and was so freaking cool and took pictures. I remember this old man with his grandsons and Dustin spending time with the kids and talking. It was great. I’ve always respected him and loved his work but after that I respected him even more.

I’d say a lot of that comes with being brought up in a wrestling family and also I think with the addiction he went through and the lows he really takes these moments more special now

Thank you Renee for this interview! I LOVE Dustin, he's so down to earth and honest. His story about his Addiction struggles made me sad, but happy he's doing so well now. He truly is an inspiration to someone who may need the help. I was a big fan of his Dad too. Love to Dustin, you, Jon and your baby girl!! Stay safe and healthy!!

That was probably the best odd paring of a tag team I've ever witnessed. Their chemistry together was untouchable.

Hollywood Backlot Brawl was a childhood favorite and still is. Goldust was such an awesome character. The early stuff with Razor and Ahmed was pure GOLD. Stuff where he got to show more of his personality in 97 was intriguing and kept you glued to the tv and 98 stuff was insane. Definitely one of my top all-time favorites.

Loved the interview. Renee & I have something in common. Dustin introduced us both to wrestling. Or at least in my case tag team wrestling. I'm from the Ruthless Aggression Era & my first memory of tag team wrestling was Booker T & Goldust. They were so funny together that they seemed like it wasn't suppose to work but they played it so good.

IMO your best interview yet Renee, excellent job. Loved Dustins straight up honesty. Neither Dustin or Cody make my favourite wrestlers ever BUT that match at D or N is in fact my favourite ever for exactly what Dustin said, the sheer emotions it brought out in me. And I might add that I have been watching wrestling since the days of Mark Lewin, Killer Karl Kowalski etc, so yeah you have had a lot of competition. Thanks guys and keep smiling.

Wow the honesty about the addiction side really hit me hard, I never realised he had fallen quite so low , the fact he was sleeping in a garage etc. that’s sad, the fact he was honest about stealing from his dad for me shows something , shows he’s really take stock of life and that he really accepts things. He could easily have said I borrowed loads of money from dad etc but he himself used the words stole , that’s brutal honesty and to some it may not mean much but to me it really is big. I truly hope he continues in his sober life, blessings to him

I was never really watching wrestling during the 90s and early 2000s, just started in 2019. But a good childhood friend of mine was quite obsessed with everything wrestling so I played quite a lot with wrestling action figures, saw posters and magazin articles and other merchandise stuff and I all the important names had been still in my brain from back then. Goldust was a really memorable character and I chose his action figure a lot. These days I love to watch Dustin's matches!

Fuck… I always knew Dustin had his demons. But, as a 26 year old man who is battling addiction right now, this one was tough to listen to. Dustin is such a good guy who wears his heart on his sleeve and it was hard to listen to him go through his own problems when I’m experiencing a lot of my own addiction issues. But, it makes me realize that one day I will be fully ready to change and I can do it too. I just need to get there. One day at a time.
