The Renogy 2000W/3000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter Charger can be used for multiple applications when going off-grid. A power inverter is an electrical device that transforms the DC power stored in a battery bank into standard household AC power for a user's electronic needs. This device can also charge and maintain a battery bank when connected to shore power and is now compatible with Lithium batteries. With a low transfer time, power remains uninterrupted when switching from solar to shore power. This creates clean and silent energy without having to worry about losing access to connected devices and appliances. The Renogy 2000W/3000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter Charger is a perfect back-up power source!

Some comments for this video. You should update this by having your person doing the demo use sockets and not a crescent wrench. The shrink wrap should not be damaged (clearly this vid was shot many times, or these cables have been reused over and over). Also include the recommended grounding connection as many people have asked about where to ground the unit (see about 1:14 in this video for the small lug with the yellow ground symbol/decal directly below the "Battery Negative" cable connection).

Why the hell haven't you made the screen externally mountable?? Such a simple and yet miss the mark option here. Allow it to be remotely mounted somewhere else like if using a Shunt. Would be great to have all that info visible in an easily accessible area. Make it have the remote on/off button on it aswell.

Would have been nice to advise about power saving mode. The factory is set in power saving, don’t be deceived once you turn on an electrical item, the item will take a moment to kick in due to the inverter having to recognize that power is needed, and then all is good, but if you disable the saving mode all is sweet.

The 2000W inverter charger has a maximum output of 65A, but the Renogy 100Ah smart lithium battery (used in the demo) has a maximum charging current of 50A. I installed a similar system, and the circuit breaker (200A) keeps tripping between the inverter charger and batteries. I used the manual settings to decrease the charging current to 40A, and the circuit breaker no longer trips. Is this an anticipated problem/solution? The device charges my batteries much more slowly at 40A.

Hi Renogy, I emailed you about a week ago but haven't received a response yet. I'm interested your 2000w inverter/charger and am ready to purchase however I have a question before purchasing. On your website, on the page specifically regarding your inverters and inverter/chargers you have a table showing what how many batteries and of what size are required to run your inverters. It says that you need 2 x 100AH batteries for a 2000w inverter and 3 x 100AH batteries for a 3000w inverter - however on this video you appear to be operating a 3000w inverter on only a 100AH battery. Is the table on your website accurate, or is this video accurate? I planned on purchasing a 100AH battery alongside whatever inverter I purchased but anything over that is just too much for my needs.
@RenogySolar
@RenogySolar 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Grant The meaning of the table under the official website is that (for example) if you have a 3000W inverter and a lot of appliances load, then you need about 300ah of lithium battery power. Assuming you don't have a lot of loads and a lot of batteries and you just want to buy a bigger inverter, then you don't need to buy more batteries. Thank you!
