All that and no mention of her roll on Legion. She was fucking brilliant on that show. First time she wasn't doing 'Evil Aubrey' that I saw. I enjoyed her work before that, became a fan because of that.

thank you for putting into words of why Aubrey Plaza is amazing and explaining to me why i love her so much. it feels so good to finally understand something about myself that i have been struggling to understand for over a decade. Now, if only i could understand why i get a tingle-ly sensation in my stomach when my male neighbor walks by, yet my girlfriend has never give me that feeling. Hopefully, there is another youtube video that will explain that too.

People say this a lot and I think it’s dumb and disrespectful towards the actor. There’re tons of physically attractive people with failed acting careers. And there’re “unattractive” people with hugely successful acting careers. You do need the talent, the hard work and a bit of luck like anything else in life.

I think is also important that Aubrey is talented, hardworking, experienced knows comedy. She's not JUST being genuine or authentic, she's that *as well*
@rellis8814 ай бұрын
she's funny and she has a great personality but she's an actress and a comedian and she's playing a role. if you fan boys really want to see the real Aubrey plaza, watch her on Conan's podcast and you get to see the real her when she's with Conan on his show you see the real human being that she is she's actually far more interesting because she actually goes into detail about different things in our life and you 100% see that with everyone else she's in character with Conan O'Brien who has known her for years she's genuine.

The background music, at least at the start, is Erik Satie - Gnossienne No. 1(?) and it fits beautifully. It should be Aubrey's theme music from now on!

I think she's a *truly* fantastic actress; one doesn't get to witness this many times in a lifetime. One of the first things I've noticed about this, the first time I've seen her act: her role required intensity, and what I saw in her was an intensity on par with Anna Magnani (an actress from a distant past in italian cinema, that is still very much on the mind of people to this day here; one of a kind).

Actually her younger self does not have such an effected tone. I think she really clung to her “parks” character and hides her real self in it. April’s deadpan is indeed more interesting than a more normal Girl after all.

@Sophadegus4 ай бұрын
MK ultra imo. Give her “Hot Ones” episode a watch. When they’re eating the super hot stuff, the host busts out some printed paper with images that supposedly matches what we see. We can’t see the actual printed paper since it’s faced the other way, but you can clearly make out whatever she is being shown is not what we are being shown.
@urbangypsy7704 ай бұрын
I’m with you but could you elaborate a bit more on what you mean by this example?
@Sophadegus4 ай бұрын
@@urbangypsy770 So what I’ve heard is that celebs under MK ultra have “trigger” words/images/videos/etc, that’s used to control/hypnotize them. Apparently they call this “going to the happy place”. - In Aubrey Plaza’s “Hot ones” episode, there’s a sketchy bit around the end where (to me) it appears she’s being hypnotized using images. I recommend watching the whole episode, but interesting bit starts from 22:18. The interviewer shows her multiple random images for her to make a “poker face”, which I don’t really understand the point of. Anyways, the video shows the image she’s supposedly looking at in bottom left corner. But pause at 22:49 and 22:53. Compare the image shown at the bottom left to what the interview is holding. They don’t show the front view, but you can see through the paper and make out he isn’t showing the same picture the viewer is shown. Mind you, this is her after eating the spiciest wing. Hard to explain but I hope you know what I mean after watching. It’ll be great if you could let me know if you did and tell me if I’m crazy or not
@Shackl3d3 ай бұрын
@@Sophadegus I don't think you're crazy for spotting that but I think occam's razor applies here.The one at 22:49 can easily be attributed to an editing error. The one with Jeff Goldblum, it seems like they show her two frame from his hot ones episode and showed us only one probably because it didn't matter all that much about seeing two frames. Plenty of multi-million dollar movies have similar continuity error so it's not hard to imagine a show on scale of hot ones would make a similar error. With things like MK Ultra theories it's always best to apply occams razor. The simplest explanation is probably the best. Hollywood is an industry driven by looks, fame, and money. Therefor a majority of those that succeed are the ones willing to do whatever it takes. So it's much more likely you have a bunch of people putting on fake appearances and following PR managed guidelines in order to keep their fame and money as opposed to some elaborate hypnotization scheme that would require some expert level worldwide coordination in order to keep it a secrete AND successful.
