I Replaced an old Nutone Intercom with a Mubview J7 Video Doorbell
My mom needed to upgrade a NuTone Front Door Intercom. In this video we’ll see if we can update a NuTone Intercom System. Yes, we're going to update an old intercom system and find out if it’s really worth it!
We go on the hunt for some alternatives, and we’ll also explore some other options to update or retrofit the Nutone Intercom to a more modern intercom system.
One of the things we also look at is how to cover a Nutone intercom system with a switchplate cover.
If you get a switchplate cover, one of the things you can do to update an old intercom system is to install a newer video doorbell.
We installed the Mubview J7 Video Doorbell, and it works!
The Mubview Wireless Doorbell Camera with Chime unit is a nice alternative because it’s a modern video doorbell.
Its features HD video quality, two-way audio, advanced motion detection, and seamless Wi-Fi connectivity. It is an upgrade over the old NuTone Intercom System.
