You can put the cover off just by squeeze the bottom very hard and it will pop out :)

For the end cap I clean the groove & the black rubber o'ring. Then apply some dielectric (silicone) grease to the o'ring. Not silicone sealer. Then it seals again like from the factory & in the future it is easy once again to disassemble.

This is so fucked how hard they make it to get into one of these. On mine the metal part that the brush goes on is super loose and idk what I’m supposed to do to fix it as I have no tools with me beside a trench knife

No heater needed, no cutting the protective insulation is needed. Just put the device upside down on firm platform and apply couple of hand strokes from upper edge down and you'll see it slowly gets unleashed. Like putting on a condom but with bit more force applied. :)

To remove the battery easily all u have to do is firt desolder it from the PCB and remove the battery along with the welded pins. Now pull the pin out with a pair of pliers. Thereafter solder the pins to the PCB and then just insert the cell

Does not take much skill or equipment. Unfortunately so many people now in modern times are so trained to throw everything away and buy another that they lack basic mechanical and electric skills, and the confidence they can do it. Heck they even need an electric tooth brush to do it properly as compared to a manual brush.
