This was very instructional thank you. One question, if that molding is old can it leak water inside the car? Or is it just cosmetic?

I just recently purchased these molding’s and the one came in really bent like the shape of a U, do you think this would be a problem? I can try to re order a new one and this one back that I got

@@robmotivetoo Thanks. I checked that site. They don’t have the roof drip molding for my son’s 2005 Civic LX. The cheapest I’ve found so far online is roughly $200 per side. 😕

I believe it's to hide the join of manufacture, between the roof panel and the side panels of the vehicle. There's a weld seam between those two and that molding hides that nicely :)
