Replacing Brake Lines Porsche 944 | Steel Braided Brake Lines on 944

In this video, I will show you how to install stainless steel braided brake lines on a Porsche 944. I will be replacing the 40-year-old rubber brake lines with brand-new ones for many reasons. Mainly to get rid of a squishy pedal, but also as preventative maintenance.

Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass die vordere Leitung so richtig verlegt ist, bzw. das die Leitung ausreichend lang ist. Der Radius scheint viel zu klein (5:30). I can't imagine that the front cable is laid correctly or that the cable is long enough. The radius seems much too small (5:30).

The line is routed correctly, but I initially had the same thoughts... compared to the original, the line is the same length. The suspension is still unloaded in the air, so the radius gets larger when the car is lowered down aswell.

Hey Man, did this improve the feel of braking? I have the original rubber lines in now, ordered a set to replace them, just wondering if it feels like there's less give in them

It is night and day for me, but this could be partly due to the fact that I had a little air in my lines. Compared to the rubber lines on my truck, they are a ton more stiff if that gives you any comparison.
