Glad it helped. I've noticed a lot of maintenance instructions on these vehicles isn't easily found on the web. Also, if someone is purchasing an LX now there is a good chance they don't have the owners manual. Thanks for the comment. I have more LX videos coming up.

Did mine a few months back. My lx sat not driven for few years. Had a musty smell until I changed these things out with oem filters. Great video!

Yes. As you know mine was sitting in a salvage yard for some time and it had that same musty smell. So much better now with new filters. Small maintenance item, but it goes a long way.

Get this…. 2014 GMC Acadia, wife’s car, uses 5 torx screws to secure the engine air filter lid. No latches. Screws. WTH? Never again will I own a GM product.

Wow. Yeah. That seems a little overkill. I never had issues with clips holding my air box together. Makes you wonder why they went with the screws.

@@TheNonnell I think it's so that average folks that don't have a set of torx / star drivers will take it to the dealership.
