You forgot to say, "Hold the Alarm button for 3 seconds to reset the filter"...there is a button that indicates that in the lower left corner of the digital panel and it works immediately!

thank you very much that was very helpful, I replaced it but the filter leaks in the vegtable tray I have to keep a bowl in there to catch the water.

Thanks very much, very helpful info. Also, my old filter was hard to take out. I wore rubber gloves to get a better grip, and it worked.
