Replacing Tie Rods on Nissan Rogue

Daughter's Nissan Rogue needed some front end work so I ended up making videos on replacing the outer tie rod ends, lower control arms and axles. Here is the video for the Tie Rod Ends.

Thank you. I was told I need to replace all 4 of them. Rstimate cost: 129 usd per tie rod plus 445 usd labor .they are loose

by measuring the back of the nut to the ridge on the ball joint aren't you just measuring the length of the part? I've seen this on several videos, but it seems like you should be measuring from the tape mark on the inner tie rod to the ball joint.

Question: inner tie rod and outer tie rod have to be replaced tgether ..or just the outer can be loose? Inners dont matter if outer are good?

It cost ~1000 usd to have it done for all 4 wheels. Crazy.

Lo siento, no hablo español. Sin embargo, basado en un traductor en línea, parece que está preguntando si no necesita una alineación si mide. Si bien esto le acercará y lo mantendrá durante un período de tiempo, todavía se recomienda obtener una alineación en algún momento para garantizar el desgaste adecuado de los neumáticos, el manejo, etc.

How much and where did you get the tie rod ends ?

That was a while ago, I don't remember where I ordered them...I do buy from Rock Auto a lot online and Advance Auto in town so it was likely one of those places.

Whats the torque for swaybar. Link and control arm?

Sorry, I don't recall. I had to search the internet for it because I couldn't find a repair manual with the specs. In some cases, I just had to guess by looking at similar stuff from Nissan and make some educated guesses based upon what I found.
