REPORT: More whites now moving into the city of Detroit

According to a new report from the U.S. Census Bureau, the mass exodus from Detroit is slowing. More people are taking advantage of programs aimed at keeping them in the city closer to their jobs.

Not really bunk, both downtown and midtown Detroit are rapidly revitalizing with countless historic restorations and major new construction continuing at a brisk pace. It is the further out neighborhoods near Eight Mile Road that are abandoned and very dangerous. Also some neighborhoods on Detroit's southwestern side are also war zones. But the rest of the city is changing for the better. If you want hopeless moribund cities just take I-75 south to Toledo and you will see a real urban disaster area pickled with toxic brownfields. From Toledo take I-80/90 east to Cleveland and you will be greeted by an even bigger urban disaster area also pickled by toxic brownfields. Save your skepticism and condemnation for both Toledo and Cleveland because those two violent cesspools on Lake Erie suck the big wazoo. Both Toledo and Cleveland are a horrible urban embarrassment to the people of Ohio and thats no bullshit.
