Fun fact: "Gilligan's island" is actually Coconut Island, located on the east side of Oahu. If the castaways had only looked around, civilization was not 1/2 mile away. Another fun fact: At the start of each episode, they show the island, which has two tall pine trees. Since that time, one tree got hit by lightning, but the other is still there. Pretty cool I thought :)
