Seconding!! I'd definitely appreciate more research, especially when my experience was less "ADHD medication can lessen menstrual symptoms" and more *"for a full week of the month my normal ADHD medication feels like taking nothing"* lol I got prescribed daily hormone contraceptives _purely_ to prevent my Vyvanse -- at a high enough dose that my dad who's twice my size takes the same mg -- from suddenly tanking effectiveness in several areas like mitigating fatigue, brain fog, and memory issues. If there's some kind of explanation that might be uncovered with further investigative study I'd love to find out; even if the answer reflects more on me like "try another medication" lmao

How do you feel regarding your medication during your period and what medication are you on? My 12 year old ADHD daughter had her first period 2 months ago and seems to be doing ok. I used to get very painful cramps the first day or two when I had mine. My daughter takes 40mg Strattera in the mornings and 1mg Guanfacine at night.
