I reuse every bit of packaging I can get my hands on but I do not buy new plastic for shipping and I've never had anything but positive comments on my shipping. We live in an area where we have to pay for trash pickup per can and the bigger the can the more expensive it is. So as a buyer I don't want ANY extra packaging that isn't 100% necessary. I get frustrated when sellers include extra junk and papers in my package. It's a waste of the sellers time and money and a waste of resources. I don't need the packaging to be pretty just functional.

Hello, you looked great with the hat and the whole outfit in this video. Wow! As always a great what sold video. I admire your hauls and sales. You have an eye for very unique items. With Poshmark and the search problem issue I've noticed that too as a seller myself on Poshmark and actually the whole last week sales were slow. Finally, this weekend my sales picked up. Something was wrong with Poshmark Search engine for sure.

Love the Wood Bunny Sale. Witco----a new name for me; Thank you! As a child of the '70's, I have seen this type of wood decor and I now I know the name. Awesome sales🌷The debate over plastic vs paper: 15 billion trees are cut down per year. It takes 5 to 80 years for new trees to grow. Without trees to provide oxygen for us to breath we would die. Just something to ponder💓 I use plastic to ship all my items. I also know that technology exists to clean up the plastic waste very quickly. My customers have thanked me for wrapping in plastic as it protected the item when the boxes were damaged, torn or wet. Thanks💓

We have poplar farms now for our paper needs. They barely do anything with our actual forests anymore. It's way easier to grow and harvest. Plastic is forever, reuse as much as possible. We may have the tech but our "recycling " plant puts 80+% right in the landfill. They had to put out the numbers a few years ago.

I only use plastic to protect clothes (or hard goods that could be damaged by weather) when I have to use a box to ship when the weather is bad here or at destination. Paper only during holidays. Otherwise, if the item(s) fits in a USPS Tyvek envelope (EP14), which is waterproof, then it does not get wrapped.

As far as when we take less than we really want : I used to struggle with that until I heard another reseller say “ some of the money all of the time , is better than all the money some of the time “ I would rather make money all the time , even if it’s a little less than I want , especially if it’s stuff I’ve had more than 6 months

Hi Amy, any suggestions for listing some vintage Tony Lama exotic leather cowboy boots that are very well worn? These came from a guy who is a collector and he says they are elephant leather. I’ve watched a few videos showing how to tell if they are authentic and these really seem to pass every test, but I don’t have any solid proof. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks so much! Hi! Sounds like a great find. Personally I would put exotic leather in the title, and then in the description put that you believe they are elephant leather. I’d probably put distressed or well worn in the title and description too. I’m sorry I’m not sure how to price them. Thanks for watching! ❤️

Great informative videos but why do you use so much plastic? It’s not good for the environment. You could fit many of your items just in the waterproof mailers from USPS.

Thanks! Right now the plastic I am using was purchased from an estate sale, I try to not buy new plastic or packaging if possible. Some buyers want things wrapped in plastic, some don’t. It’s hard to please everyone. I just do my best. ☺️
