@@DatBoi_TheGudBIAS did u repair it? if not i will try to help first up: hold the power button or click restart with holding the power button. once done, there should be a menu for windows recovery options, click advanced options, command prompt. now there is a lot of options, and if you wanna repair corrupt file or missing file, etc. heres a list of commands that you can use. sfc /scannow , what this does it repairs missing or corrupt system file. DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth , what it does it checks your pcs health and checks if there is any latest update, etc. icacls "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps" /t /c /q /l /reset , now this does alot and what i mean alot it checks your pc and if found something corrupt or missing, it repairs the corrupt system file or replaces with another one, replaces any file permissions to default basically, if any of this worked, restart your pc and see if your problem is solved. No problem if helped!

Awesome Video! I was having tons of difficulty trying to delete files and figured some unknown SID from a previous reset was the issue and ended up butchering my permissions to the extent i couldnt even delete anything. This fixed everything and now I am able to delete the folders I wanted to. 10/10!

Once you're infected, it's virtually impossible to know that you've removed all the malware on your system as you say at 0:24. Do you know a tool that you're 100% confident will remove every single occurrence of malware? I think the only semi-certain option is a fresh OS install and restore of content from backup, which unfortunately isn't practical for many users. Really enjoying your vast, prolific content and thanks for regularly sharing so many excellent tips.

Hey Britec. Love your vids. I know how to fix Disk 100 issue now. 1st bootup pc to safemode then check for malwares by using hitman pro. If you find any malwares and deleted it. then restart. 2nd launch cmd by admin and input chkdsk /f /r, Restart your pc and wait for the scan to finish and I got rid of the malware and there's no more random 100 spike disk issue. Dont turn off any service because that will hurt you pc more... Thanks for the 100 disk usage tips and how to get rid off malware both videos help me fix my problem...

If you have an SSD, restarting windows will only take 5minutes. I have one of those gaming 750SSD's and restarting windows doesn't take nearly as long as my 400mb/s old hard drive.

Sir I have messed up my advance security settings by changing ownership and gave full control because I couldn't delete or extract some files in c drive but after changing permission lot's of system features & apps got corrupted so I reset my PC to fix all that but now lot's of Microsoft apps crashing and windows update getting error & lot's of windows features got uninstalled like restoreHealth tool, etc. Idk what to do so I am thinking to use this method to try to reset all permissions to default and fun wsreset.exe as administrator hoping that I don't get the error as "Windows cannot access specific device, path or file..." @@dma.c I had to format my PC and reinstall windows 10. Save some important files if you can & delete everything else. Don't install windows 10 or 11 which is saved in your PC. Better ask any computer store to install windows 10 after formatting

@rahuldas6109 Thank you so much,I'm glad you replied,yes i did format my pc but the same problem with windows store apps and almost everything(I think because all settings and files are synced to my Microsoft account which restored everything after i logged in and I reinstalled win10 by the cloud download,maybe these are the reasons why I'm facing the same problem)I backed up everything and deletd the Microsoft account and I'm going to download windows to a flash memory and factory resetting it again. I downloaded test disk and put it into excluded folders in windows security/windows defender and windows defender detected it as a trojan. I'm sure I messed it up somewhere. I just thought you should know britec.

@@notmrbreast if you did it on the root drive itself, then there's no fixing it as some are owned by TrustedInstaller and some by Administrator and other profiles. Ended up just resetting the pc as even if I somehow fixed it, I know sometime it will give me an error again.

DO add a link to the mentioned software and whether we need to pay for it or not. If we do many people may not want to install the software which renders the whole video rather useless! This video is rather important because as we all know Microsoft likes enormously to manipulate and mislead and deceive and we don't really have administrator privileges by default to our own computer (program files, program files x86)
