One of few games which put you in the experience, rather than trying to win. Alongside Silent Hill and Alone in the Dark while Nightmare Creatures was more about fighting back. And then there was RE7 and remakes of older games in the series, Deadspace and Amnesia plus others I won’t mention as we all know what they are

What are your thoughts on Amnesia actually as that was a different level of survival horror, where it lacked weapons and crafting until the bunker where the supplies are scarce

I like how much effort developers would put into these games with limited hardware incapable of good looking 3D graphics. It’s cool that you can enjoy these old games. There is that nostalgic feeling too for some. But I personally can’t get myself to play these fixed camera games. Especially after learning from some developers themselves that the limited camera wasn’t really a choice but a product of the limited times. I honestly wish developers would revive the fixed camera angles with a modern twist. Perhaps multiple fixed angles with the press of a button?

Most people find it tedious, but I don't mind them at all. They're barely an inconvenience. 😉

I can play this game every day, and not get sick of it. I’ve beaten it many times. A rank, got Hunk and Tofu…although I can’t seem to beat the hunk or Tofu scenarios. They are difficult.

That sounds like you're an absolute Resident Evil 2 Affectionado! I plan to do playthroughs with the other characters at some point, as well. Including Claire in this game. I think its alot harder if I remember correctly.
