This video is awesome. I’ve trawled the internet looking for content to give me an idea of what is involved with 3D printing (you know all the hidden stuff no one talks about - cleaning for example). This video covers it all. Everyone who is thinking of 3D printing should watch this first. Also not only is the content really useful it’s not too long, and it’s presented in an interesting way 👍🏻. Great work! Thank you 🙏🏻

I need a 3d printer for minis but I just don’t know if the small or medium would be big enough to print some of the larger minis that I need like gargantuan dragons from dnd.

If I am only going to print small things but I want to print more things quicker would it make more sense to purchase multiple small printers?

Question: I'm interested in making custom keyboard caps for computer keyboards. In some of the tutorial videos I watched which are over 2 years old now, the creator is using an resin 3D printer and setting the printed item in a resin mold of the keycap. As you can imagine, the diorama is very small to fit into a key cap and thus the printed objects are also small. What resin printer model should I be looking at to keep high levels of detail for incredibly small object printouts?

A really informative and down to earth video. I've watched quite a few of your videos but only now hit the subscribe button, my bad. I'm very keen to get a 3D Printer and will sometime in the next few months. Kudos for making sure to highlight safety issues, and your growtent solution will definitely work for me. Thank you )O(

Glad the video could help! The safety stuff gets overlooked all too often so I thought it was important to stress. Hope your 3d printing journey is a good one and if you have questions or anything then feel free to ask.

I bought a Mars 2 and Saturn 4K printer a while back. And not used them since then. I mostly print terrain out on my FDM printers. Are they still viable for printing minis, detailed terrain pieces and busts? Or should I be looking at upgrading, I was looking at the new Saturn 4 Ultra and Mars 4 Ultra.

They’re definitely still viable for printing minis. Honestly I’d stick with what you currently have and see if you get into it more with a few projects, and if you do, then maybe upgrade.

I got the Mono 2 last year, haven't used it as much as I'd like due to time and limited workspace but I like it.

I own a Photon X2... been nothing but trouble since day one. These Phrozens appear to be more reliable.

I have a Kobra Max FDM for terrain, tanks, and body armor. But I love FoW and want to make my own Team Yankee peices. I can make buildings/vehicles just fine, but not the infantry. I am looking at the mars 4 because I dont need big space (its about 7inch by 7inch) for 15mm infantry. If anybody has experience with the Mars 4 let me know if its decent as I know decent amount for FDM, but almost nothing for Resin.

Got a Mars 3. Won’t buy another printer until I can get one with a tank heater built in for sub $500.

Can I make a statue with a 300 dollar resin printer if I print it in parts?
@Magick1an2 ай бұрын
Yeah. You can make whatever you can load the plate with. You just need to consider size of the final product and how many parts you have to break it up into.

Definitely mate! I’ve been running my Saturn 8K (best value) for over a year now and have printed multiple 1/6 and 1/4 scale figures generally in 2 prints
