I attended Shady Grove church BEFORE it became Gateway. And I approached one of the "pastors" there (not robert morris) about a personal issue. Well, I told him my story (very involved) and the next thing I knew, he said i was healed (or something like that) and didn't need to return for anymore prayer. Well, I KNEW I wasn't healed, but he was CLEARLY trying to get rid of me. It was then that I realized he had NO idea what being a pastor - or serving others - is really about. In fact, he acted like he was too good to be bothered by me. (And this was confirmed by another member who had the same experience with him that I did.) I eventually left that "church" because it seemed to me all the pastors (elders, or whatever they were called) only seemed to care about themselves. And THAT is the environment that robert morris came from. I left because I got tired of their "good ole boy" attitude.

Robert Morris didn't elaborate on the sin he committed years ago. Is this required to preach or teach? I know Robert Morris was going to retire soon regardless, but to say he can't serve God is that saying Christ's death on the cross was not a good enough sacrifice to redeem Robert Morris? What he did was horrific, but doesn't Christ forgive even the murderer?

The good people might want to demand their money back as well. Think of the millions if not billions that have passed thru for the big “I” defacto state . That is the elephant in the living room. Ignorance of all these people. .

I don’t find you to be very redemptive toward Robert Morris, the very core of the Gospel. Doesn’t the Scripture say some of us were homosexual, some were thieves, etc but you were washed, you were cleansed, etc. It never says a person can never preach, teach, or anything else again. This is carnal vindictiveness and carnal anger and not Scriptural.
