This video explains how to make aloo methi in restaurant-style in Tamil.
Today I have taken a famous North Indian dish on my menu which is Aloo Methi. In Tamil we can say Urulaikilangu Venthaya Keerai Pirattal. Today I am doing this as a dry dish. If you want you can change this as a gravy I can teach you that also. This is very famous in the North. Indians can prepare many dishes in Methi Leaves, which gives cooling to our body. Which is used to clear the sore in the stomach, so it is mostly used in regular cooking that can be added with potato, which is a very famous restaurant dish people ordered this often. Let's do this in our home kitchen in the restaurant way in Tamil.
Aloo Methi
Ingredients Qty
Potato - 100 gms
Methi leaf - 1 Bunch
Cooking Oil - 1 tbs
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Garlic - 4 cloves
Green chilli - 1 nos
Onion - 1 nos
Tomato - 1 nos
Jeera - 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder - 2 pinch
Chilli powder - 1 pinch
Coriander powder - 1/4 tsp
Chat masala - 2 pinch
Jeera powder - 2 pinch
Kasturi Methi - 2 pinch
Ghee - 1 tsp
Lemon Juice - Few drops
salt to taste
