Hi all. I suggest you watch my new video about the restoration of an old calendar. To restore it, I used many different methods, including sandblasting, powder painting, laser processing, a CNC machine, a crucible furnace, a vacuum casting machine, and many other interesting methods.

У нас, сохранился такой календарь ! Ещё в детстве, мне нравилось играть им. Это наша реликвия и надеюсь, что удастся сохранить его и в будущем. Даже не мог себе представить, что такое ржавое изделие, можно отреставрировать ! Досадно то, что кириллицу, поменяли на латиницу. Всё таки надо было оставить всё, как было . Выпускали его в Харькове, Это целая эпоха ! Конечно, получился новодел, но технически, Вы мастер !

У меня такой Ленинградского монетного двора Гознак, с алюминиевым корпусом. Отец нашел на свалке, я его немного отполировал бормашиной и пастой ГОИ, теперь стоит на рабочем столе, всех удивляет

Помню такой был у бабушки с дедом! В 76 году, мне было 5 лет. А сейчас он у младшего братишки, другой стране, стоит на самом видном месте и радует глаз! Была недавно в гостях, увидела, так захотела туда, в детство, в СССР...

But sometime in the 1980s it stopped working, the dates and day tags got mixed up and I couldn’t use it anymore. I was hoping that your vid would of explained how the date tabs should be inserted, so I could try and fix mine

Я болгарка. Был такой у нас, когда то. Принесли его нам в подарок. Любила играть им. Не знаю где пропал. Думаю родственички прибрали к рукам после ухода дедушки. Бабуля не сумела сохранить эти драгоценные воспоминания.

Под месяца должна вставляться пластина в виде лотка, без нее их вынимать проблематично. И в оригинале название месяцев наносится на обе стороны пластины.

Отреставрировал неплохо выглядит хорошо но душа календаря была потеряна с английским языком (я не ультра патриот но всё же обидно за такую раритетную вещь)

For the Non-Cyrillic readers, this was a Soviet Flip Calendar, originally written in Serbian. The little scroll showed days of the week, including Петница, or Friday, which was how I identified the language it was originally written in. It's ashame that this was changed, but nonetheless, a cool restoration.

This may sound silly, but even though I'm a native English Speaker, it's a shame you didn't keep the original language for the Day and Months. I appreciate the English Subtitles and video information, but it's sad if you felt you had to make the change, just to please the Western part of your audience.

A brilliant job done. But in the original, the names of the days of the week and months were in Russian. You changed them to English. In this logic, you should also remove the inscription Харьков on the cast emblems, it is also in Russian.

Календарь не из СССР, посмотрите внимательно начало, в названиях дней недели дореволюционная орфография, с ятями. Вещь определённо царских времён.

@@falqkorr Какой ещё дореволюционный шрифт? На календаре чётко виден герб Харькова, который был принят в 1968 году. Его сделали в 70-80 годах.

У Харькова теперь аллергия на все эссеровское... как и у всех нас и не только... так что правильно сделал. По мне так лучше на английском. Все остальное вы сами испортили такое и отношение
