It's cool that at 19:02 the same guitar appears to appear behind Alan Alda!!

Great story Crafty! When I see vintage instruments, especially much older ones, I always wonder what was the history of that instruments. A friend of mine gave me two old Banjos that he found in the trash can at his apartment. I have intentions of fixing them up. After doing some research it looks like they are both from the late 1800s. The skin on one of them is torn but it has writing across it of one of its owner's names. Maybe written in pencil, but large Block Letters saying JOE DUNFORTH. (I want to somehow save this when I do restore the banjos). The tuning Pegs are all missing on one of them, and the other had one broken one, and one that was still in good shape, but missing the 3 other pegs. From some research these may have been made of Ivory or bone. I would never throw something like this in the trash. I'll bring them back to life so they can keep talking to each other!

Nice story and good to see that vintage Gibson was saved. So many times being a waste hauler I come across guitars people throw in the trash and wonder why.

Maybe silly but how about kick starting the week by playing a couple positive guitar strings for the fans. You can call it Crafties string-along😂
