Hi Barbie, I saw the title of the video and I just had to go back and watch. You see, I was in almost the same situation as this lady. However I live in Australia and at the time, I had 10 kids, overwhelming post natal depression and my husband was also depressed. I was also homeschooling and looking after a severely disabled child as well. CPS took all ten of my children. I had #11 since then. I had noone to help. And the grief was overwhelming. But after 3months, I pulled up my bootstraps and got my 5 bedroom house cleaned up by myself.after almost 6 years I got 6 children back. Still fighting to get 3 of the other kids back. (The other two are legal adults) But I would of loved to of had you come and help. ❤ We need less judgement and more compassion in this world.

I have never enjoyed cleaning, for a long time it made me resentful and I hated the way parts of it felt (e.g. wet cloths, smelly garbage). Barbie - you worked a miracle on this bathroom -- and with blocked drains! I have a drain clearing trick I use that I stumbled upon accidently. There is a cat toy called a "cat dancer" that is a long sturdy length of medium strength wire with a tiny bit of rolled up cardboard at the end. It's flexible enough to go down the drain and the bit of cardboard at the end catches stuff blocking the drain like hair and debris. It works pretty well, and it's always shocking to see what it brings up. I use it in the bathtub, sinks and shower drain. You can get this toy online for about $4-$7 and it doesn't wear out.

Not sure if you have a dollar store or walmart/Kmart type of stores near you but they sell this snake shape plastic tool with spikes on the edges of it which is good for pulling hair out of drains , it's very flexible to put in you bag/bucket of cleaning supplies.

Concerning the clogged tub, "Hair Away" will unclog tub drains. Expensive, but effective. It is sold at hardware stores. I hope this helps u. Your Oregon Viewer. We r expecting 91°, this July 13th.

Assuming that the plumbing in Europe is similar to America, to snake the bathtub drain you don't put it in the drain hole, you take off the overflow cover and snake it from there. I have only had to snake my tub once because after I got all the hair out I bought a hair strainer for the drain so the hair doesn't go down the drain anymore! As the saying goes, work SMARTER, not HARDER.

With the blocked drain - boil the largest pot of water available - proper bubbly boiling. Put one down the drain before and after the drain cleaner. It melts the fatty stuff.

But the drain cleaner must be flushed a lot with cold water, otherwise it can make a lot of harm like chemical burns in the nose, lungs and body. Sulfur acid is no joke

Again such an miraculous work! For removing water from bathtubs and floors I can recommend a dustpan. For loosening these huge amounts of dirts, maybe a cable-drill and a drillbrush might be less tiring? You might also be abled to reuse that drillbrush for all these extreme dirts.

That clean bathroom is nothing less than a miracle! The enamel is worn off the tub so it would never be completely shiny no matter what you did.
