Well, Jimmy's holidy to Disneyland Orlando is now over and Sharon and myself take a trip to gatwick via london to pick him up. We also stop off at Manze pie and mash.

Hi Martin & Sharon, Just stumbled across one of your excellent early video clips to your trip Gatwick Airport via London. Like yourselves no longer live in London, in fact Norfolk. My sister says driving around in crowded congested London with parking as well as the expansion of ULEZ is a complete nightmare! Never a big fan of pie and mash however loved eating Manze's jellies eels at the Walthamstow Market which since has sadly closed. Thanks for sharing your wonderful memories living in Roehampton. I look forward visiting Royal Roehampton Park sometime in the future. Best wishes😀

I live in countryside now Martin where the people are very posh. But i will never forget the Cockney People working class Londoners lovely people. People in the countryside don't realise how tough parts of london are, its a different world mate.I miss home i will always be a Londoner working class its in my heart.As soon as i heard you speak on your videos i knew you was from home. In the war Londoners had Bombs dropped on them every night they never surrendered god bless London greatest city in the world. born a cockney and will never forget where i'm from

Wow Martin I lived in danebury avenue number 139 next to the Shute, lol it was the block after the shops , this was back in 1959 , I went to a new school called Roehampton gate , near the park and opposite was the block that the guy was arrested for killling the lady over the common that her son witnessed, I think he was proven innocent. My brother went to the church school in the village . Thank you for showing this, I love all your videos, you and Sharon are brilliant always make me laugh , your so quick witted 😂

Used to live in Kew gardens don't half miss the pub called the Kew Inn always used to have double pie and mash in Camden's royal college street no chance now.

Nice footage of your area. So what you need to do is find out how many others moved from London to you area and then see if you can open a Pie and Mash shop in your neighborhood :-) It's like all the shops around me that claim to have New York Style Pizza or Hot Dogs. None are like what I remembered when I lived in the city! Tim
