I’m new to your channel so I’m binging a lot of your content. I’m a fan! PLEASE have a look at Feel Tennis channel and see how Tomaz has created a series around forehand, backhand etc. you are fast becoming my favorite YT coach but what is very clear to me is that you cram a ton of insight into 9min vids. I’m sure there are areas that could be worth 10mins in their own right that you’ve only touched on here. For example. On your one handed backhand vid it’s only at the end that you mention the Heavy, the Rally and Flat versions. It’s a nuance that very very few other coaches even acknowledge. You could and should, break out the one handed backhand into a series of technique for each version and then game Play for when to use each one. I’d pay for that. Looking forward to watching more and hope my comments carry the enthusiasm and support for you that they are intended to.

Could you show an example where Emily hits a serve faster (or better angle) than you anticipated (and/or you took too big of a back swing) and hit the ball late. What goes through your mind (and preparation) on the next return to compensate for this mistake/misjudgment.

What is the advantage of returning in a more aggressive position (inside the baseline a bit)? I’ve tried this but sometimes I feel like it puts me out of position once the ball is in play. It kind of puts me in no mans land.

The advantage comes in taking time away from your opponent if you have solid return quality. Your opponents follow up shot I'd pressured allow the returner to dictate. But you're correct that it can be a liability if your returns are not good
