The overhead is supposed to be the bug finish of the point. But many of us seem to struggle to finish off what seems to be an easy shot. In this video I help you hit them clean and consistent. HAVE FUN😁

Now that you said it, the pros do this all the time. Slices and kicks overhead are very common. Thanks for sharing

Interesting take. I think I do some of this intuitively when pressured...I'd add though 1)short take back on overhead 2)really move your feet and keep moving them until you start the swing to ensure good weight transfer. Too many rec players stop moving and mess up their weight transfer. Aggressive footwork on the overhead is the #1 thing to work on for the average player. I'd add, like a center fielder in baseball, when you see the lob, the first step is back. Always. Adjust accordingly if it's a bad lob, you'll have plenty of time to move in still.

it never occured to use a kick "Overhead" for balls pushing me back. I've always been thinking to work on my footwork, but it is good to have another option.

Hey Will, as mentioned in the other comments great video and original instruction on the overhead. Noticed you changed your racquet and since you always have an interesting POV what a about a video with your take on how to choose a racquet, why you chose this one, and mistakes to avoid when thinking about changing a racquet? Thanks!
