I really appreciate the extra effort to overlay video with narration and the special effects type of editing. Even if Jason was a robot in the garage . It doesn't hurt for a normally on screen character makes comments or other verbal contributions. Think , as if no camera was there , just make normal guy banter and jokes . For real tho, picked up so much more watching the second time .

Hi Josh , just watched the jet boat video . My observations are you might need to double check the the driveshaft alignment thru the center line of the Hull . Agree that the sealing of the transom plate was losing you water pressure and speed , fix that and it’s going to be way faster too . Next engine? I think the GPR engine will be too powerful for that pump , the Suzuki engine will probably be cheaper and easier to install and match the pump better . The GPR engine would go back into the FZR hull easily.

Actually Raiders do not turn like shit if you replace the sponsons with something aftermarket. The stock ones are pure crap. I fabricated my own out of lexan and made them adjustable so I can pull them up or down depending on the water conditions.

I know how you feel man. When I was a kid on high school sophomore year I think I had my worst experience with frigid water while on a ski. I remember I picked up a double trailer with two 650sx’s one red and one blue for $300. The red one had no engine. The blue one though....it was the dirtiest looking engine bay but it had all kinds of after market crap on it. High comp cylinder Head, some kind of aftermarket exhaust system maybe (pjs or west coast?)Bright bright blue pipe(I knew it wasn’t stock because the engine had oem silver paint but the pipe was blue like the color of the send button on an iPhone text keyboard lol, Flame arresters, and bright yellow fuel lines so I figured this thing had 1000hp just from the yellow fuel lines alone not to mention everything else! The first time I ever tried a stand up was right out of a page in the JSB book on this blue ski! Never ridden a stand up before when I got this thing. Went to the state boat ramp in February. Didn’t have a wetsuit. Just went for it. Hopped on, fired it up, and snapped her wide open throttle to get going without getting wet and the throttle got stuck wide open. I fall in the drink/all my muscles lock up from cold and shock and meanwhile the ski is gone like a rocket which means I should have checked to make sure the kill lanyard switch worked which obviously it did not. Long story short it crashed into a dock and sank lol. I pickled it and then learned my lesson. Don’t try riding a clapped out standup for your first time in nothing but boxers in 35 degree water and 28 degree air!

I only ever bother to set idle when the motor is under load. couple of extra straps on a trailer and let her eat. I mostly ride stand up in the surf, so I can’t have a stall

GPR would work well in the FZR hull might even be able to sell it. I if you put a GPR in the Jetboat would be super cool but would require some modifications to make it reliable either way...

U sound like you have a bad bearing, and when you run it you get it cavatating

You should never ever run your engine outside the water if the jet pump is connected, it's not enough to put the hose through it. You are doing massive damage to your pump if you run it without full water.
