Strangely enough, I've always felt that Zootopia was a film mostly meant for the adult audience as there's a lot more themes in the original film that children wouldn't really understand (unless they're like insanely brilliant or have a very high IQ). Return to Zootopia is a sequel that really tries to bring something more that the original just couldn't. Heck, some of the original concepts from the first film were incredibly dark, even for Disney Animation. I feel that there could be more (or one more story) steaming off from this fan film but I know that'll probably take a few more years until that happens and a lot of planning just to get it right much like with all stories and projects.

I’m pretty sure the theme of the movie is meant to be directed to children. If an adult already disagrees with Zootopia’s message, the movie isn’t gonna change their opinion. With children, however, their opinions are more likely to not be very far developed on something of that nature. So, if the message was really meant for adults, it’s not like it would change many people.

I just have to say two things: 1: I really liked the film, yes, the animation wasn't perfect, yes, the writing wasn't the best I've ever seen, but is was a solid piece of art. as of writing this, I've seen it twice all the way through, and will probably watch it again. 2: I have the utmost respect and inspiration from what you did. you had an idea to make a fan film, so you went out and F'ing made one. you wrote, directed, and animated the entire thing. you found talented voice actors to bring your characters to life, and you told a pretty damn good story. keep writing, keep doing your thing, and I look forward to watching more content from you in the future. you set a great example.

Unfortunately, I completely left the Zootopia Fandom now. :( But before those days, I found this fan-film that was absolutely amazing. Though we got the lack of animation and a bit of good animation at the most end of the film, the story, the acting, the art is just the way the I like it, or should I say I love it!! I only found this movie a week ago and I have to say this film was damn good. The amount of time and passion you put into this was truly astonishing. And watching this commentary track really showed me how much work you put into this. I related a lot to your general thoughts on this film because I am caught up in my own fandom project thought definitely not as massive as a two-hour fan film. My thing is fanfic of a popular game you may have heard of (stay determined.) So I really appreciated when you talked about the challenges of writing fan creations. From writing characters in character, how your story changes through drafts, inspirations for certain aspects of the film, and the hardship of what to cut and what not to cut from the story. (Also how you talked about giving fanservice to the furry community which I certainly related to.😉) Anyway, I hope you continue to provide amazing content and I wish the best going forward whatever you decide to do. :3

This was a really enjoyable film. It had great pacing, and building of Judy and Nicks relationship. I loved it from start to Finnish even with the animatimation/art style. But that is nothing to be ashamed of, because at that young age it's very difficult to have so much experience that you nail it all down perfectly, especially when you spand it over almost 2 hours. My critic would be the animations, I would scratch them completely and just have pictures be faded in and out for scenes like a comic, less time consuming and probably also a better result in the end.. Coming back to this. This movie was truely amazing. EASILY the best "fan film" I've ever seen. Honestly could easily be a true part 2. The type of mood swings and ways this easily controls your mood from making you laugh, to cry, and to a true gut wrenching fear for the characters is amazing. When I first saw this film, I wondered what I was watching. This may not seem like much coming from just one youtuber (and I am not technically a youtuber), but I want to give credit where credit is due. I honestly want to say, from one artist to another, that your work is positively spectacular. Your artwork is amazing and I was genuinely surprised when I found out that you voiced Boggo! It was so convincing and almost sounded nothing like Nick! And the music? I cannot believe that you did all of that yourself! Several days after I watched the movie, I found myself humming that song to myself all the time. 4:43 in my opinion you did a really really good job making these two very connected and very much like who they were from the original. A thing however I found weird personally was when they initially started they’re more romantic relationship I found it kinda sudden. It took my until Judy mentioned it to her parents the first time to actually catch on like “oh they’re together now” I don’t know why I didn’t catch onto it faster but it may just be me. With almost any film I always see that time is a constraint for things. But seeing maybe some more little build up perhaps seeing them work together in action would’ve been fun. Besides that I think this portrayal is almost a perfect romance relationship I’ve seen in awhile.
