great review, how does it do in 25-30 degree celsius weather?

It's not awful as long as you're moving, but is certainly no replacement for a good mesh jacket. The challenger cooling vest will fit in it, but I still wouldn't recommend much riding over 80 degrees Celsius if there is much stop and go

Thinking about this jacket - seeing the sales online. In retrospect, would you consider buying a medium? I'm about your size, half an inch shorter. I wonder if there are enough adjustments to make the medium work. Small is no longer available on this previous version. I do generally prefer the European fit. I am a small in US fit, but feel that with the thermal liner in the small REV'it! seems a bit snug and ay defeat the purpose of having some insulating air for the winter in Boston, MA

I think a medium would give you a traditional "comfort" fit. The small is definitely a tighter fit but seems to hold the armor in the right place in case of a crash. I don't think there's any air space lost in the smaller size that would lead to less insulation.

Excellent review! I just saw this jacket online and thought I would check out the reviews on it first. What do you think about the Alpinestars Andes 3 jacket incomparison to this jacket? Also, why Rev it's? I am asking because these are the two brands I look at. Also, I am curious about the kind of riding boots you use as well? Are they Gore tex and what brand? Thanks
