I got a little choked up when you shared the study about sharing the good and bad from a person's experience. That's one of the things I like the most about you...you share your struggles instead of just your accomplishments.

Brilliant as usual. I've learned so much from SPT. It makes sense that we would feel more likely to succeed when we know the weakness and roadblocks of those have gone before, otherwise we would think they were somehow superhuman so their success wouldn't apply to us mere mortals.

I struggled with my weight for so many years because I tried to follow conventional, seemingly sensible, advice, to manage it. Focus was on what and when to eat and not eat. While I could at any time have emulated what people who effortlessly manage their weight, do - if I had only used my head, and my eyes, and asked them how and why they ate, and not ate. (I understand that how and why are more “advanced” than what and when, and that I wasn’t ready to grasp those concepts at an earlier stage, but still, I’m a bit pissed, on myself, and on the world.) These days, the message of conventional wilsdom is that it’s virtually impossible to manage weight, especially for someone with chronic obesity. But I’m not a person with superhuman abilities or willpower. Our time is just without boundaries. BLE reintroduces boundaries, and boundaries have to be learnt. So it’s a challenge, but for those that accept the challenge - and don’t mix it up and make it harder than it has to be - BLE can be a great approach.

Makes sense why the Apostle Paul said “Follow me as I follow Christ” meaning follow Christ! Do what I’m doing!

Can we preorder a digital copy of the book, such as on iBooks? It’s available on iBooks but unsure how to send proof of the preorder.

Hi, Fira! You sure can. You would still receive an order confirmation and you can send that in. 🧡

Makes sense. I know there's a guy in the group that has been a crystal vaser for 7 years. I just can't relate to that, he may as well be speaking another language.

Interesting, but very difficult to listen to with too many, "umms and aaahs".

Hi, Sherry! Susan filmed a Vlog about the purpose and use of "um" in her speaking. If this interests you, you can watch to hear her thoughts here: brightlineeating.com/2019/03/the-purpose-of-um/ 😉

It’s been proven that the “um” is a necessary pause to keep ones thoughts on track and/or access to what one really wants to say. Sadly, it’s frowned upon in society and not embraced. Have you ever tried to make a video this long on a topic? Without a teleprompter or cue cards or notes? Try it! It’s exceptionally difficult. Susan is intelligent and unique in this ability to keep her train of thought on a topic and the pauses help her do this for us! For free!!
