I just got a 15 pro max. I’ve been into iphonography since the 3 with SLR DOF adapters. Moment cases are the best for on the go with good lens / filter options. For more pro rigs look at beastgrip cages. I miss the Porsche content and stuff like this is great. - Spencer in San Diego a block from the boat dock.

why dont use it without that cover?

I think that is self explanatory. A cover is needed for the ND filters and the handle grip to use it as a camera. Something I have been using for years.

Good vid without all the fluff. Sorry to hear you had to go through that debacle. Its almost as if the people that design this stuff don't actually use it. Designers: "If it ain't broke, we'll fix it until it is"
