Yeah, of you take a good look, this is not a "B Team". It is a reflection of the depth available for for Springboks. 95% of them have started at some point or have been on the bench. With this quality of players, it really difficult to pic an "A Team". Plus, the new generation of players must also get game time since many of our players are reaching retirement age

I mean, it is a B team. Most of the players that are not playing would be starting. Pollard, Etzebeth, De Jager, Mapimpi, Faf, Marx (bomb squad), De Allende, Kolisi, Kolbe etc…

I was honestly shocked Nawanqanitawase wasnt selected. Also jorgensen isnt given a debut off the bench. I think the wallabies look demoralised no one looked like they wanted to be there or cared. Even when we scored u can tell from the way players celebrated it was like what ever well done. I think rugby australia making outrageous offers to NRL players really destoryed the team mate...

@@Wildkard Yeah there was a lot of NSW Blues-like urgency in that side (i.e. not much urgency at all). Honestly starting to think that Coogee Oval is cursed as a training paddock. Kicked balls went unchased. A lack of hustle to stay on-ball and first to the ruck. The focus on League players is very weird from Eddie. Koriobete is a rare exception who's been able to really shine after making the cross-over. Vunivalu has had long enough to prove himself and he hasn't set the world on fire. And there's plenty of good contenders for those back three positiions. I think Jorgo is still injured but there's Pietsch and Toole there too in addition to Nawaqanitawase. And Kellaway's due to be fit anytime now. And I would've thought Muirhead, Ben O'Donnell and Lachie Anderson would still be ahead of Vunivalu anyway. Hopefully the game against Los Pumas this weekend won't be a catalyst for another rant and angry letter from your neighbour!

Have to agree about Dave Rennie, i thought the squad was gradually improving under him and that there seemed to be some structure moving forward. Something that had been missing for some years. Now? I doubt we will make the quarter finals let alone the semi's. Just adds to the last 20 years of frustration as a Wallaby supporter.
