I know this is a few years old but, the button doesn't turn this unit on for jumping, it's on when you plug the cable cord in and that's when it starts timing down before shutting off. So I'd connect the cables to the battery first, then plug it into the jumper so you have more time to get into the car. The button is to turn on the accessories port power. And in case others don't know, this jumper doesn't charge up a dead battery, it's mostly supplying power to the starter motor so the engine can start and then the alternator can charge up the battery.

I have two little diesel tractors and they will never start when the weather is really cold and I need to plow snow. This jump pack makes getting them started much easier than getting my pickup close to the tractor and using jumper cables. It also charges cell phones and can be used for a flashlight. I bought one for my wife and each of my sons.

You suppose to hook up the cables first to battery, then plug up to the pack don't have to press the power button it automatically comes on when you plug the cables up

I used this thing to start a completely dead battery on a 2000 GMC Yukon. Just left it to idle for about 30 minutes and I was able to drive it around no problem. Will definitely be keeping this in my car from now on.

I'm glad it could help you. Those lithium batteries are incredible. I've discovered the batteries need to be charged up about once a month whether or not they are used, just to keep them alive and well.

How do I charge the unit battery charger up to 100% on the unit itself? Think I found the usb c in to charge up the unit it, it’s charging up to be able to get the unit to 100%…It’s next to the DC out put on the side of the left side of the unit, charging fast too…was only 71% charged now at 73% lol it is charging up so can jump start my stuff especially my SUV

The Topvision jump starter will crank any vehicle I have, including my 6-liter diesel backhoe. Should work for a Forester. As long as the battery is not completely dead. The battery needs to have a little charge remaining. If you need something that will crank a vehicle with a complete dead battery, they you may want something like a small portable generator. I've also used a Jackery to power a battery charger to crank a vehicle with a dead battery.

@@juddrobinson6762 Creative XP claims the unit works out to 1340 feet. I have tested and measured it several times on my property. Up to 400-500 feet you can clearly see animals or people. Beyond that, all you can see is moving shapes. The zoom is not much help. It works ok for me because I usually set it on a tripod and look around our fields for wild hogs or other critters. Does not work very good in the rain. I forgot to mention that in my review.

Can you charge the unit IN the car? I'm thinking of getting this for my kids, but I want to see if it's possible to charge it using the 12V/lighter port in the car along with a regular wall outlet. Thanks!
@MikeM1004 жыл бұрын
Excellent question. I wish I had thought of adding that to the review. It depends on the vehicle. It will charge from any source of power, but will not charge as fast from weaker sources. I charge mine from a 3.5Amp charger that was made for cell phones and it charges from 20% to 100% in a couple of hours. In my Chevy Equinox it charged for 45 minutes and only gained about 15%. But in my GMC Sierra truck it charged from 20% to 85% over the course of a 90 minute drive. So the more amps the charger can supply, the faster it will charge. I hope this helps. I will add your question to the video description. Thank you.

This G26 unit is rated at 21800mAh which sounds pretty good on the face of it. It can supply 5v and 12v from the same battery by stepping down the 12v to 5v for charging phones etc. Basic calculations using their figure of 76.96watt/hours gives the following. Just using the 5v o/p it has a capacity of 15400mAh. Using just the 12v this is reduced to 6400mAh. They get their figure of 21800mAh by adding the two together which is a total lie. It’s one or the other, not both. I don’t know how they justify this scam but obviously they are relying on most people not knowing enough to question their figures. What else are they lying about ?
@MikeM1004 жыл бұрын
I never expected it to adhere to their claims, because most Chinese vendors grossly exaggerate the capabilities of their products. But the three Topvision batteries I have are working fine. The only real problem I have with the charger is that the wires are too thin and the power circuit heats up quickly, causing the unit to turn off after a short time under heavy load. But I use them a lot and normally the charging I need is done before that happens. The battery jumps off my heavy equipment just fine. I have not had any problem with the USB charger working. I have several other jump batteries and this one performs better than most, for the same price range.
@johncrosley94154 жыл бұрын
@@MikeM100 l didn’t say they didn’t work. They are fine within their limitations if say you have accidentally discharged your battery but no good for a dead or faulty one. l have a lead/acid jump pack of 17Ah which will start any 12v vehicle even without a battery. These Lithium packs just put enough charge back into your battery to allow a start. As you say the wires are too thin to supply the quoted current so they are really portable chargers, not jump starters.

Hey Brian, I've never seen that on mine. Maybe it's supposed to say 100 but the display may be defective? Several people have responded to say that their batteries were defective. and it looks like they are no longer available on Amazon. I sent a feedback request to Amazon and the seller and they said the units are unavailable because of backorders due to Covid. But I wonder if it's because of a large number of defective units. I have four of these (frequently use all four) and have not had a problem and I hear from many people who bought them and rarely hear of any other problems. My brother bought one that was DOA and sent it back for a replacement, which is working ok. It sounds like you got a bad unit. I would send the company feedback and request a replacement. But make sure you are charging form a hi-amperage source that is strong enough to charge it. Someone contacted me, who was trying to charge one from a power port in a car, and it was very slow to charge. About once a month, I usually leave mine connected to a hefty power block over night.
