I get the chicken shish in their Spitalfields store the odd Friday for a treat, it’s just epic, every ingredient bursting with flavour and a great balance of textures, I can’t recommend Le Bab highly enough. Great review as always Gary. 👌🏻👍🏻🙂

The food did look appetizing and I would definitely want to try the butter chicken kebab, very unusual, but it looked fresh and certainly plenty of filling to make it a good meal. Try this at home...toast a piece of pitta, place open on hot plate, place on top spoons of greek yogurt,add your donnar kebab meat,Pour🎉 over a can of Campbell's thick condensed soup thinned down a little with a few dried Chile flakes in it and top with sliced red onions, suberb.

Not only was it quality it was abundant. There was generosity in those servings. Thanks for these great videos Gary and food ideas for fakeaways. I love my hummus kebabs being a veggie but I've never been that keen on aubergine. When most of us think of a kebab we think of a Saturday night falling through the door of the the nearest outlet to the public house you’ve just had a skinful in and it’s long strips of leather masquerading as lamb drenched in chilli sauce served on a pocket of dry pitta bread , which more often than not ends up as a pavement pizza when mixed with the 10 pints of lager that were consumed earlier , but this was a million miles away from that , quality ingredients cooked and presented in a way that so appetising , although difficult to eat with any semblance of dignity but you just about managed it Gary , pricey yes , quality yes , enough to serve 3 so all in all value for money and 9/10 well earned , great review as usual my friend 👍

Those prices for Central London is actually pretty good, obviously rents are high but you will be surprised by the Business Rates they extraordinary high. The food looked rather good and certainly somewhere I would consider, more a work/mates thing than romantic date though.

I love going to Le Bab after twelve pints of Bollinger and a polo match. Food does look great though and there's no reason why kebabs shouldn't be upmarket, they come from a noble cuisine tradition after all. And you clearly enjoyed it! For the quality the price seems fair.

£58 to feed 3 seems very good value given location and quality, Gary. Liked your comment about them all having unique flavours. We all love a kebab now and again: I usually go for a grilled chicken with all the salad but we typically know what to expect. Think I’d go for the butter chicken if I visit. Seems very appealing. Judging this based on the business lease price and the business rates for this location, the size and the portion, I would definitely say in my opinion the price was decent.

I occasionally get a takeaway doner kebab in a naan wrap, with tomatoes and onions and garlic and chilli sauce. I think its meant as street/taxi food but really it needs a kitchen table and a cloth to clean up after. £5 small is enough but £7 large clonks it with ample tidbits for Hamish the dog.
