Ron, Gotta thank you for the soil composition you recommended to me for structure. Had an 8 ton truck unload topsoil on the new lawn I installed last year. No tire marks! In fact the truck ran over a rock that was holding down a tarp and instead of it sinking into the lawn, the rock slit into pieces. HE! HE! Thanks a buch!

Coming from a Tru Cut, how is the drive mechanism? I see that you might push the red handle to move forward, is that correct?

Yep. You can have the reel spinning without the drive system engaged. I like it more than the TruCut.

Hi! Can you please tell me what's the best type of sand to buy for lawn leveling from big box stores like home depot, lowes, or walmart? I cant find river sand or masonry sand in stores or on amazon.

I don't buy sand from the big box stores so can't really make a recommendation. You'd want to look for a coarse sand vs. play sand.

Hi Ron, I'm considering a reel mower and it appears the Revolution 26 is a great machine. I'm about to pull the trigger, but any thoughts on other reel mowers I need to consider? Should I give any thought to Husqvarna robotic lawn mowers as it would cut regularly at .8 inches, which would be great for my Bermuda and save me the time/effort cutting every 2-3 days and avoid vacation voids in cutting my grass. Also, through the summer her in Georgia, how often do I need to fertilize my grass? I did pre-scalping in March, full scalping in mid-May, followed by aerating and fertilizing. I'm using Lebanon Turf 14-7-14 as my soil test said this is what I needed. SuperSod near me said you should fertilize monthly?

If you're in the market for a new reel mower, get the Revolution. The only other option I'd consider is a pre-owned greensmower like a Toro or JD.

Do you have any issues with only 6 blades? I use a 10 blade currently at .5 and I’d like to get this one but I wonder about the clip rate and rippling in my Bermuda

I'd love to have a lawn like this, but with trees to provide shade, spend under 2hrs/week during peak time doing maintenance and not spend over $300 for treatments each year. I'm in Marietta, but on a limited time/money budget. See the dilemma? Recommendations? Or is this type of lawn only for people able to spend $1000+/yr on equipment+fertilizer+weed control and 5 hrs/week? Perhaps if you shared costs for everything involved, we'd have a better understanding? "not too long" or "not much effort" are vague to me. Of course, I'm still jealous. I can grow moss better than anyone else I know!
