TY for your fast response. This looks pretty fun TY! I love finding something new that looks like it could add some good tools I might learn to love!

Good idea! You want to see the results of it essentially? I will be doing avector converter comparison video again soon with more platforms (inc kittl)

This tool would be a great companion to using Cavalry for vectore animation.
@WadeMcMasterАй бұрын
Oh nice, I haven't tried cavalry, sounds like fun. So it's vector based animation tool?
@prolivevideoАй бұрын
@@WadeMcMaster Yeah its pretty cool. Ive only just started using it but I've seen a lot of tutorials. It is a vector tool from the ground up, but of course it can use photos and video as well. It follows the same user interface paradigm as AfterEffects but is very different. The options for automation and parameter driven design is phenominal. that makes it a really unique tool. It reminds me a lot of Blender's geometry nodes in that sense. You can do a lot with the free tier (including full video export functionality) but the Pro tier allows you to export Lottie files. Lottie files, invented by Air BnB are a JSON formatted package for usage in a web browser that uses a Lottie Player (javascript). No browser extensions of plugins needed (unlike Flash). You can get a plugin for exporting lottie files from AE as well and there is another cloud-based Lottie creator. IMO lottie is a serious usage case for Kittl. Of course you are exporting static SVG and then using another tool like Cavalry to animate it. SVG is the primary element for both Cavalry and Lottie spec. The only thing that is almost a deal-breaker for lottie is that there are no decent open-source tools for it and there are no commercial tools with a perpetual license for conveniently producing them as designer. Everything costs an arm and a leg and the cost is ongoing ("you will own nothing"). Hopefully I can convince some talented developer to use Blender (with it's 2D greece penscil mode) to find a way to export lottie content somehow.

That's cool. I should check it out sometime as I think it'd be a lot of fun. I used to use flash back in the day a fair bit, so exporting for web would be cool

Is it possible to add more styles to the assortment that is there now ?
@WadeMcMaster2 ай бұрын
You can add your own style, but no in the vector styles - just bitmap styles.
@JoyfulStitching2 ай бұрын
Wade, may original image be imported to be able to play with and create a vector from it?
@WadeMcMaster2 ай бұрын
Definitely, the vector converter can handle any images
@JoyfulStitching2 ай бұрын
LOL sweet I got the pro just now and already DL’d a finished SVG..just saved like 1.5 hrs. :)
@WadeMcMaster2 ай бұрын
Yes! Very nice :) If I was still running my graphic design business I'd be all over this too (well, I still am - but specifically for that purpose I would be moreso). Really handy, I'm glad you saved some time!
@JoyfulStitching2 ай бұрын
@@WadeMcMaster I think for me right now, the time savings means I dont mind adding PSD back in my work flow for colors maybe or something else I haven’t wanted to include. PLUS 90$ That’s an hour charge for the year…
@WadeMcMaster2 ай бұрын
Yeah exactly! You can easily make that back in a couple of jobs then its virtually free once you covered the costs.

Hey can we turn any photos to vector through ai?
@WadeMcMasterАй бұрын
You can, however the results may not be great with photos due to the nature of shading, etc

@WadeMcMaster which ai u recommend to turn any photo into vector? Which one is best?

@@AbsoluteUNIT000 I would try Kittl's - althoguh you are limited to 16 colors, otherwize, vectorizer.ai (you can preview for free there too)

The only thing that puts me off the vectoriser is its limited to 16 colours - Recraft has far more...
@WadeMcMaster2 ай бұрын
I do agree with that too. I think they kept it to that for the color editing side of things, but otherwise it'd be nice to have a full color vectorizer in there. That is a shortcoming I hope is overcome soon..

Sooooo... Kittl or Canva? I know it's horses for courses, so I'm doing apparel designs...
@WadeMcMaster2 ай бұрын
I would say if you remove the AI component, they are much more even - but Kittl's AI is superior to Canva's IMO - and has much classier templates for design. I hope that helps mate! Whatever you find easier to use will be the best choice.
