So that is definitely a lot easier than I thought. However...you have a lot of experience doing this so you really make it look easy.....then when I go to do it....😭😭😭

Haha I promise it's as easy as it looks. The only hard part is pulling on the wheel to pop it off the splines. But a little pushing amd pulling action gets the job done and with the bolt still threaded on the end You don't have to worry about punching yourself in the face with it 😂

I have a 2015 wrx sti with its original wheel, and it doesn't have a mark on it. It all comes down to keeping it clean. Oils from cheap cleaners, and your hands will eat away any material. The same can be said for seats and so on.

Very true. I cleaned my steering wheel every time I cleaned the carm keeping oils off of it will definitely help keep it looking new for a long time!

I actually found it down under the engine on the plastic splash guard. I can't believe it stayed there on the drive home and the few drives I made before I found it lol

How much thicker is the Rexspeed compared to the OEM? The grippy dips on the backside of the wheel are no good to me. Creates pressure points when performance driving. Uncomfortable

I plan on buying a VA wrx what’s the highest miles you’d recommend I’d stay at when purchasing?

I wouldn't worry about milage as much as condition and how well it looks like its been taken csre of. If you're worried about mileage I would try to keep it under 60,000.

Your car interior is “cheap” because you got the lower model. I like the materials in my sport-tech trim. Suede seats and leather wheel are great in mine.

I agree the upgraded package with the leather and Suede is nice, but It still has the same cheap plastic all around. It's definitely nicer, but in my opinion it could still use a little improvement. But it's a much better starting point.

Is the steering wheel straight? I had to take my VA to the alignment shop before when I had this done to it. It was a different brand tho.

Yes and no.. my alignment was actually off the day I bought the car. My wheel was slightly to the right since I left the dealership and it appears to still be slightly to the right with the new wheel. So I think the wheel is straight and it's just my already bad alignment.

This won't cause any issue with the warranty. Definitely recommend one if you're looking to spruce up the interior!
