Fun fact, Snakeyes was a toy before being in the comics. The reason he was all black on release was to cut costs and allow the toy makers to have enough funds to provide another figure in the launch line. Little did they know was that Snakeyes would become the most popular GI Joe character ever created.

Snakeyes seems to be at the center of many bits of accidental brilliance. One of the most famous GI Joe comic issues was a Snakeyes solo issue that, due to a printing error, had no dialogue whatsoever. It succeeded despite - or because of - the complete lack of word balloons or textual plot, sustaining itself on the strength of its action and visual storytelling alone.

I actually know a neat trick for flimsy accessories, dip them in boiling water for about 5-6 minutes and punt them on 2 flat surfaces and they'll become strait again. Also I recommend trying to find better stuff for the models
