I would tell people to NOT BUY RHEEM units. BECAUSE THERE UNITS ARE NOT ASSEMBLED WITH ANY PRIDE. There is just too many fairly new units from the factory that starts to leaking too soon. i now have to go spend money for the LOSY JOB THAT THEY DID AT THE FACTORY. This unit is not even 5yrs old yet. What a CRAPPY BUNCH OF WORKMANSHIP THEY HAVE. aaaaggggghhh!!! i am pissed.

i am so happy i found this video. thank you. Could some one please reply which MFG, make a better heat pump, or which heat pump is considered to be one that is considered good. thnx.

I'm on the Ammonia Refrigeration side and we make the manufacturer pay for their mistakes. I would call the supply house, argue tf out of a manufacturer defect and if they wanted me to fix it they would have to give me a PO or WO whatever yall call it. I wouldn't work for them covering their mistakes.

Sir, can you help please. My rheem heat pump in the heat mode is running continually, but no heat. the outdoor unit does not run in heat or cool mode. What can i do to fix it? please. I am in Orlando.

Like I tell people the manufactures let the contractors and customers do there research and development for them.

That's exactly where I figured it was leaking. I've fixed a dozen of those. Ruud/Rheem fix was a zip tie around the pressure switch and line so it don't vibrate and leak.

Funny they did this, the low pressure switch is a screw on fitting.

I thought the same thing, bad joint on the high pressure switch. Well known failure for Rheem units.

Good call not to open the system in the rain. Wow all that money and the crawl space is that small, should've made a mech room outside would've be better.

Yeah, i loved them at first, told a lot of people about them. But now i am sorry. They are a crappy set. Will never ever let any one i know use RHEEM.

I knew that’s where the leak would be. I’ve fixed 3-4 Rheems leaking in that same spot. It’s a horrible design from the factory and vibration causes leaks on that 90 degree bend before the switch. Rheem is a cheap piece of equipment
