I have to admit that after reading Celena's chapter, I was seriously disappointed, too. I always had this head canon that Celena figured out what the MHC did i.e. swapping Meteora for Festivia. But maybe her not putting anything in the book doesn't change anything. Wouldn't publicly confronting such a devastating truth be dangerous? I'm not saying that the MHC outright threatened her, she's the Queen of Mewni afterall. But maybe she had a reason to keep her silence? Mina could've been the one threatening her for all we know. Celena more than likely does know something that could rock the SVTFOE world. And putting it in the book of spells, where any young and inexperienced princess could easily find it would be far too dangerous. Its like the guy said. Maybe Star, Marco, and River will uncover the secret in season 4.

Actually Celena does have one secret. In the beginning of her chapter there is a small code/riddle. Also at the back of the book it says in low mewmen “you can go up or down”. From what I can gather Rhina and Celena might have been able to see the future to some extent. Rhina is kind of hard to say, but she probably is trying to tell the future in her riddles, which makes it rather hard to understand (her description, for example, talks about the book: it was first destroyed and reformed on Skywynne's reign, and later on was newly destroyed on Moon's reign under the supervision of her daughter, Star), and her "easy riddle", seems to imply that something is going to end (most likely the Buttlerfly monarchy). It is also implied that her wand is the most powerful yet, with the limitation of being far too complex to use (I mean, she did force a monster to love her, and later on accidentally killed him from a heart attack when she just wanted to "break his heart"). Celena seems to know her fair share of secrets, and they are not meant to be told (talk about a more secretive queen than the Queen of Darkness...). The main secrets I believe she hides is that she cannot perform wand-magic (or is very bad at it); and so she decided to do it through potions, the tarot, and the horoscope. Note that 2 of this mediums of magic and the occult are "meant" to explain the future.

Selena is derived from the name of the Greek Titan Goddess, Selene. Now, as we know, in the shows endgame, Queens Eclipsa, Moon, and Solaria (Solaria's involvement was indirect of course), and since Selena's name is a reference to the moon, I believe she has some sort of involvement in the series' endgame. In terms of comparing the final battle to stellar events, the fall if the Solarian Warriors could be interpreted as a solar eclipse, which requires a new moon (like Moon the Undaunted, the the second or newer character whose name is in relation to the moon) and the sun (which can be Star as the sun is a star). But, as we know, the Blood Moon is a huge part of the show, and the Blood Moon in real life is a lunar eclipse, and for a Lunar Eclipse to happen, the Earth needs to pass between the Sun and Moon. But there's no Queen whose name references the earth. So maybe Selena knows something about Earth and Mewni's connection, and perhaps know about humanity in the royal bloodline, either past or future. What I think is that Selena created the Blood Moon Curse so Marco and Star would discover their love, which would be the Moon, the Earth, and the Sun in an alignment, and would mean Marco's Mark's are both due to the Blood Moon and his and Selena's connection to it.

I know this is far out there, but I feel as if Festivia could in some way be related to Mewni's royalty despite being just a peasant girl. Dunno.... I mean yeah, what was shown in the episode "Butterfly Trap" showed her not having cheek marks when she was a baby, but at the same time , I don't feel it fully explains how her offspring have the cheek marks associated with mewman royalty. Sure, Marco technically has them and isn't royalty, but they've only really been shown twice, and its not like he consistently is shown with them. He has only had them appear when he used them and when he kissed Star. The first book of spells was destroyed, and it unknown whether Eclipsa would even be the true heir. What if there was a situation where another princess was swapped out? We don't know this, and we don't know how closely those girls were related. What if there was a situation like Dirhennia or Jushtin where the younger, "more capable" sibling got the throne? What if said former heir had a kid with someone who wasn't of noble lineage? What if Festivia is related to that? It would explain the reason why her children have cheek marks despite her being just a "peasant girl." This is further brought into question for me, as Festivia's descendants have the ability to dip down, and on top of that go into Mewberty form. If she isn't true mewman royalty, or at the very least related, why can her descendants do that? We haven't seen Marco do this (I don't count the kiss personally. I feel like more would have happened if he were to do that) , so why can they? Dunno, something just doesn't add up. I feel like she has to be related in some way or another, even if it isn't to the ruling line of mewni.

@Tom Reis It's hard to put my finger on but I too think it reeks of bad writing. A lot of fans are way too hung up on Star and her family not being "true" royalty. Bitches, their family has been royalty for generations and if Eclipsa and her daughter hadn't been alive still then Star would have been the most legitimate heir available. Actually, arguably she is *still* the most legitimate heir, since Star has been raised from her birth to do the job, which is an objectively better qualification than having the right bloodline. I'm mostly basing this rant on how royalty works in the real world, since I've only sporadically watched SvtFoE, and royal bloodlines are historically very replaceable and a whole lot less sacred than in fairytales.

Actually we see Reynaldo later in the series, he's apparently Glossaryk's son who navigates the rivers of time, though in the 1 episode we see him he literally only speaks in riddles, and Glossark apparently despises him because of the whole riddles thing, even though he's his own son and he knows that speaking in riddles is his own fault. But to be honest I think he can speak in ways other than riddles because he says minor things in ways that are not riddles. Also apparently he really wants to be in the MHC again but that can't really happen since the MHC never listens to him even though he created it

Skywyne, Solaria, Jushtin, Eclipsa, Meteora, Festivia, Crescenta and Dirhennia were the queens before her. If you subtract the boy (Jushtin) there are 7 left. "Add four more reigns to her domain" which means add Celena, Estrella, Comet and Moon, which then leaves Star. "And then what gets destroyed?" *THE MAGIC* gets destroyed. It gets destroyed *BY STAR.* Did Rhina know all along that magic would get destroyed in the end?

The answer to Rhina's riddle is "The Book of Spells". The Book of Spells was destroyed in the reign of Queen Moon. And the reason that the riddle highlights the boy queen is not because he was a boy, but because Justin only contributed to the Book as a Princess. Also Star only wrote in the book as a Princess also. She refused to be Queen, only acting Queen. There were seven queens wrote in the Book of Spells before Rhina and four queens write in the Book of Spells after Rhina.
