The only song my best friend wanted played at his funeral was Spirit In The Sky. He died March 2014, my nephew made a tape that looped this song continually. This was THE only song played. My friend was smiling and dancing with the Spirit in the sky. Miss you Paul.

Amazing Performance! Would love to see Norman do some gigs and come to New York City. He has a lot of great songs as a solo artist, and when he was in the group Dr. West and The Medicine Show. Hi--are we having fun yet?? Great song. Now that we have this great song to enjoy. What comes next? Wanna take a chance/risk? Thanks to a few crises in my life I finally got off my butt.. Met 5 homeless people at local circle K and began to relate to homeless people. bought them coffee and shared smokes and talked with them they gave me more encouragement then I gave them. Funny. I thought he sounded pretty good and close to the same vibe as back in the day. The guitar players sucked. I've read some of the comments on hear and seriously some folks on here are tone deaf. I mean seriously, if your know your gonna play with Greenbaum and do his song with him, for Christs sake, throw a little Bosstone or Sunn Buzz in your bag when you leave the house and stick it in an effects loop at the gig and do the song proper. Totally lost the originals cool hippy foot taping vibe on this live version. Norman sounded good though. They just needed to bring his mic level up a tad.
