Sherri Martel took so many bumps from the boys back in the 90's it was amazing. Especially when she used to take the Warrior press. I heard her say it hurt like hell and she probably took it most nights on the house shows. R.I.P Queen.

Ric and Sherri had so many things in common from the robes, their love for the party lifestyle and former world champions of their respective divisions. RIP to the one and only Sensational Queen, Sherri Martel.

Growing up watching wrestling there were managers I hated with a passion like: Bobby Heenan, Jimmy Hart, Jim Cornette Mr Fuji, and Sensational Sherri. Now that I am older and looking back at their careers and who they were I have more appreciation for them and their accomplishments. The fact that they were able to elicit such a feeling from me and others, shows just how good they really were at being heels.

Man....could she take a bump. I remember that unification match WCW World Title and WCW International Title. So happens, it's the first day Hulk Hogan arrived on WCW television program....Clash of the Champions if memory serves correct In one spot when Sting throws Ric Flair out the ring, Flair is on the ground, gathering himself to get to his feet...Sherri is near him adjacent. Sting takes a running dive over the top rope. Flair instinctively grabs Sherri to pull in front him.....IMPACT! She took the bump like a champ! Rest in Peace Sherri Martel....one of the best!

I’ll never forget Halloween Havoc 1994 when (I can’t remember how) but her outfit ended up getting stripped down to where she look like a maid haha and Hulk Hogan was body slamming her etc. On another note, I always thought she was biracial - I think she was Cherokee Indian and was a Southern woman - being from Louisiana and dying in Tuscaloosa. She was the best female manager Flair, Harlem Heat, Michaels, Macho Man, etc.

Incidentally I've often thought that Miss Sherri Martel could've very easily been related to Miss Julie Newmar who played "Catwoman" on TV in The Sixties!🤔🎤🐱💃📺🤼♀️B.W.

Amazing how Miss Sherri Martel's AWA days were a 180 degree spin from Her time in The NWA Pacific Northwest. When She started out in Portland in the early middle Eighties She and another gorgeous young Woman were essentially Playboy Buddy Rose's Valets. Once Buddy Rose and his good friend Doug Somers reacquainted themselves with Miss Sherri after all three began chasing Tag Team Gold in 1986 in The AWA against Scott Hall and Curt Hennig the Heel Team's once escort developed a Managerial attitude. All five people are no longer existent on Earth.😔🎤🌹🤼♀️🤼♂️B.W.
