@@nelejaustinthere is no “they” . Parents should teach kids the most important things in life, manners, respect, character, responsibility, etc and those will set you up to learn at school and on your own.
@djpseudoname20234 ай бұрын
@juststartloww wealth is taught in schools… private schools. Private schools do not have to follow state laws about what to teach, they can offer unique and specialized programs. Private schools also offer highly advanced programs in the sciences, arts, business entrepreneurship. The immersive environment also means that many private school students attend school for more hours in the day than do public school students, because private schools offer afterschool programs and a longer schedule. This means less time to get in trouble and more time to get involved in learning how to be leaders and understanding Other People Money (OPM). Start high, never low… unless you’re bending down to tie your shoes.

Hmm, I like how he mentions that you have to first manage your finances before you can do other people's money
@robertweekley59264 ай бұрын
To "Manage your Finances" it would be wise to understand a few things, like "What can you do with Money?" A) Earn it, B) Spend it, C) Save it, D) Give it,. E) Invest it. And possibly, if different: F) Loan it. Most people have successfully experienced A & B. Some have some success & experience with C & D. Probably Fewer have successfully experienced E & F! Most people don't even think beyond "C", is one of the Problems, and our Culture teaches us mostly about "B", as it just talks about "Consumers!" How often do we hear anything about Saving? Giving? Investing? Or Loaning? Far less, if at all! So, it's no wonder we are where we are, in our financial situation!

Well, since "The Earth is the Lord's, and everything in it" this would still have "Applicability!" But, I get your point! I lean a bit, on "The Parable of Talents" for inspiration, myself. Just remember, "Money" is also a "Tool to do Good" in this life, and not intended to be just for Selfish Purposes! Hard to help a Beggar get a Meal, if we, ourselves, are "Broke!"

Smart debt is underrated among your average Joe who only fears all debt and regards all debt as a bad thing. How many times do you hear that someone just sent stand having debt, but without debt, many fortunes would never have been born. Smart debt and doing something risky and bold that would be really great for the world of it works out, is something to be respected, and many people have an irrational fear and aversion to all debt, smart and stupid.

@xdigitalhigix4 ай бұрын
We are sold on this concept but I think fundamentally this is a HORRIBLE value to live by... 1. One need to be a special somebody to not feel guilty gambling with OPM.. look at banks, CEOs, etc... one have to be greedy, narcissistic, overconfident, etc.. 2. Our economy is built on this value, and look at the chaos, greed! 3. Usually we think about OPM as funding, but making customers money is as well, and companies overboard on OPM. The philosophy DOES have validity and works! but, in my personal opinion, it breeds a horrible environment and culture... Maybe this is my personal philosophical hurdle from being wealthy 😅😅😅

It's truly funny how people don't understand how much of the content made in the last 8 months is ai generated. The model you're using needs more fine tuning, it got the general cadence down but there is little variance in the speech. You might want to add some sort of variable to change the tone as well as a wider range of of pronunciation based on the emotional state of mind of the speaker. I can clearly see that no one in the comments can tell this is ai generated. I'm just nitpicking
